The property is located high above the main town, which can be a problem without a vehicle. Otherwise it's a 15 minute walk to the beach (downhill, but naturally, all uphill on the way back.

View, cleanliness, comfortable bed. Well set up with utensils, kitchen and airconditioning but with screens on windows and doors to keep the flies and insects out. A great balcony with exceptional view was excellent. The host could not be faulted - thank you Markis.

The decor and comfort were excellent, Makis the owner was exceptional and helpful and accommodated everything we needed. The distance to the port was exactly as described but going to the accommodation was all up steep hills. Walking up was not practical for us older guests.

The accomodation is execelent. It’s very clean and confortable. The view from the private terrace is amazing. The host is very kind and available, he speaks italian, french and english very well. The breakfast is the best in our holiday with marmelade homemade and typical products. It’s the best place for an authentical Serifos experience

I felt that the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, especially the shower. Even though the apartment had two air conditioners, one of the bedrooms didn't have. Also, our bedroom was a bit dark, it had only a tiny high window.

The host was very welcoming. The breakfast was nice, in a beautiful little patio at the back of the building, but sadly it was offered only until 10:00. The rooms were fully equipped (big kitchen, hair dryer) and well decorated. There were two air conditioners, one in the bedroom and the other in the living room. All windows had nets to prevent insects from entering the house. The host also offered to lend us umbrellas for the beach, as we didn't have our own.

Makis was very friendly and helpful. He picked us up at the port, even though the ferry was an hour late arriving and when we left he took us back to the port The room was clean, very spacious, (bigger than expected), and well equiped with everything one could need. The big balcony offered privacy and a great view. All set in a peaceful location. The breakfasts were good with delicious preserved sweets. Because it was early in the season and the breakfast area wasn't yet open, it was a real treat to have our breakfast baskets brought to our room, so we could eat on the balcony. We loved listening to the frogs. It's quite a walk back up the hill from the town but a taxi back is only 5 euros.

Travelling alone was perfect, but if there are more persons, the bathroom is really small and gets wet, when showering. It is no problem at all, but one should know it.

The host was really really welcoming, friendly and helpful! The view is fantastic and everything really quiet.

The apartment consisted of two rooms and a balcony with a fantastic view over the island landscape. Breakfast was excellent, there was a selection of homemade jams and marmalades , delicate cheese from the neighbor and much more. The port center is within walking distance. For our excursions and island life we got valuable tips and information from the owner.

We had a great time at Maroussa's, the room had everyting we needed, exceptionally clean, with a great view of the sea. The breakfast was very good, with homemade fresh food. The host was welcoming and very helpful with a lot of useful info regarding best beaches, bus and ferry schedule - very important on greek islands, where sometimes basic information is not as easy to come by for tourists. Be mindful, if you have mobility issues, there is a 15min walk up from the port. The host was very helpful in driving us from and back to the ferry, so carrying the luggage was not an issue.

Walk from Livadi is a little tiring as it s uphill (but only 15 mins) - and Makis gave us a lift to and from the port so overall location worked out okay thanks to the amazing host :)

Makis was an INCREDIBLE host, friendly, helpful, full of useful tips and interesting stories. The place itself is so peaceful, with great breakfast with local products and home made jams. Overall would recommend and stay there again

Very spacious and fully equipped apartment with great view to the sea. Breathtaking view of the rising moon in July. Easy access on foot to Livadakia and Karavi, both beautiful beaches. Makis, our host, was very accommodating and helpful with any request we had. All of his suggestions for food and swimming were spot on! Definitely recommended!

It was fairly hot and there could have been a fan provided in the second bedroom as there was no aircon there, but it was not unpleasant as there was a breeze. There was aircon in the main bedroom and in the living area, which was great.

The host Makis was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he went out of his way to make our stay a memorable one. It was my daughter's birthday whilst we were there and he provided a couple of bottles of Prosecco to celebrate the occasion. He also did our laundry on a couple of occasions and gave us cooler boxes, umbrellas and chairs and the like to take down to the beaches. He provided a wealth of information on restaurants which were recommended, car and scooter hire and places to visit, as well as assisting us with printing out some travel documents which we needed. Breakfast was more than adequate and the freshly squeezed orange juice was amazing, as were the fabulous cappuccinos.

Nothing. It was lovely.

The owners are simply delightful ! Friendly, helpful and collected us from the ferry port. Nothing too much trouble for the staff too. The apartment was well equipped, large, clean and very confortable. We enjoyed the veranda which overlooked the countryside with views to the sea and beyond. Comfortable bed and sofa bed. Excellent breakfast was on offer daily. Quaint Greek "home-away-from-home' which is tranquil and peaceful. Nature-noises at night and clear, starlit sky. Absolute bliss I will most certainly return.
