The apartment itself is a little difficult to find especially in the dark!

Mary's house is a real gem, being a proper home with all the cozy comforts that implies, but also fully equipped with modern facilities and lots of extras in the fridge and kitchen. Unfortunately I was only there for a brief overnight stay and I arrived very late, which Thanasis was happy to accommodate and was waiting for me when I arrived. Markopoulo is not the most attractive place at first sight, but it's only 10 minutes drive from the airport and has all the facilities you might need.

Not much to do in the surrounding but yet again we just wanted to be close to the airport and the apartment is great for that purpose

Bakery and great coffee shop across the street 3. Super clean and spacious. Would certainly recommend if you have early flight or just passing through

Such a wonderful property hosted by beautiful people. Everything was just right for us. Bed so comfortable, air conditioners worked well, kitchen fully equipped plus lovely home grown fruit for our use. The hosts could not do enough to make our stay terrific. Communication was second to none. WIFI worked perfectly too. Ideal location for 10 minute access to the airport. We were recommended to a lovely cafe style eatery below the apartment (on the corner). Basic delicious food in abundance.

loved it all

I’ve been in Greece for 3 weeks and stayed at 4 different places. Mary’s house was by far the best. The house is lovely, bigger and better than in the pictures. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept in. Mary had water, fruit and a few snacks for us which was a nice bonus. Mary thought of everything. She provides all the toiletries you can possibly need from toothpaste, different shampoos and even cotton balls and q-tips. The kitchen has everything you need including a coffee maker, coffee and filters-and beautiful China and glassware. Did I mention Netflix and internet that actually works! It’s the best place in Greece. i truly felt at home. I stayed for only one night because my vacation has come to an end but I wish I found this place sooner. I didn’t get to meet Mary but her son Thanasis was very sweet and helpful. it’s close to a big supermarket and lots of bakeries and coffee shops. There are so many choices of places to stay, Don’t waste your time reading reviews that can be deceiving. I usually don’t write reviews but I had to after wasting so much time trying to find a deceit place. Stay at Mary’s which I highly recommend and you will not regret it. Thank you for a lovely night. I’ll be back.

nothing to dislike

it was a perfect location for getting to the airport. Also very close to Porto Rafti which was a great spot to spend a day on the beach. Central to the town so it was easy to commute. The host was ver helpful and accommodating.

The home is very clean, has everything you need to stay as long as you like. Very comfortable. And the town is is very friendly. The host goes out of his way to make your stay wonderful. He helps with every aspect of your travels and your stay. It's like a home away from home. I'll be back!

The apartment was exceptionally spacious and very well equipped. Ours was a one night stop over before the flight home. I would have been very happy to stay there longer and definitely recommend it.

I should have stayed longer!

What a gem! I booked it because it's close to the airport but I'll stay here again because it was so nice. The bed was the best part, extremely comfortable, complete kitchen, everything you need. Loved the shower supplies. Thanassis was great and very helpful
