Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesIt's outside of the town but an easy 20 minute walk to Bora Bora beach and tons of restaurants. It's nice that it's located in a quiet location with a private beach. The food was fantastic, the staff was so friendly and spoke English really well.

IrelandMy only dislike is the shower in the bathtub. It would be so much more accessible without the bath.
Comfortable bed, lovely breakfast . good location with fabulous views of the water, within walking distance of the beautiful old town.

United KingdomThe only option available was Half Board and we would have preferred to have been on Bed and Breakfast basis. However the Evening buffet was fine and there was plenty of choice. Also note that although stated as Adult Only there were a number of children around the hotel. However that may have been because it was over the Greek Orthodox Easter holiday weekend
The location was excellent - right by the sea with small shingle beach for swimming if desired. 20 minute walk along the Esplanade to reach town centre (Old Fort/ Liston/Spaniada). The views from our balcony were beautiful - 270 degree view over Mon Repos parkland, Corfu Bay across to mountains of mainland, to the iconic Old Fort of Corfu Town. Hotel is in a quiet residential area but there are a few convenience stores and a few restaurants /cafes nearby many of which were used by the local residents. The hotel is traditionally furnished with small foyer and bar in dark wood panelling. Many of the guests were Greek and it did feel like the sort of hotel where returning guests were welcomed like friends.

United StatesOnly bad thing is that they were stingy on the coffee for the room. Only ration one Nespresso capsule per person per day.
Having breakfast overlooking the water was very nice. The room was comfortable, but the bed was not the most comfortable. I really enjoyed the balcony overlooking the water and the fort. At night the fort would light up and it was magical.

United Kingdomwe were given 2 pods a day for the coffee machine in the room. it wasn’t that easy to get more. there were coffee and tea sachets to make a normal drink but no kettle so the only way is to pour hot water several times through the machine to get a hot tea. also no milk only coffee cream. didn’t ask though to be fair. the shower could have been more powerful just a head on a stick. ceiling waterfall would have been nicer. none of this would stop me returning however.
absolutely lovely breakfast and sitting overlooking the sea. the pool is small but most visitors are not here for that so it doesn’t get crowded. the beds were huge and comfortable. great location. good walk to the town, just what i love after a heavy meal and all along the sea. and access to the sea right over the road. No beach as such but if you want a beach you don’t choose to stay in Corfu town.

United KingdomThe bathroom could be updated (but it is perfectly functional) More choices for gluten and dairy-free options at breakfast but still a great selection avaialble.
We were greeted with a glass of bubbles! what could be more perfect?! The hotel was close to the town so we could walk in along the bay and it was also conveniently close enough to the airport for when we left to fly back to the UK. The room had beautiful views from the balcony and the bedroom was comfortable, well-decorated, and spacious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Couldn't of wished for a better place to stay!

United KingdomNothing really in particular that it exceeded my expectations
Location - in particular old city views from the room window. Otherwise if you are active person with no luggage excess the walk from the airport takes approximately 20 minutes. Walk to the city centre takes 20 min as well and you walk promenade along the bay which is fantastic. For others there is 2a bus running to the centre which costs 1.7€ per person one way. Very friendly and polite staff which is the strongest point of the hotel. Hotel itself is very slightly dated but otherwise is kept in excellent condition and clean. Breakfasts are good offering some choices. Hotel dinner is worth trying - the food is very good quality and given free glass o wine even cheaper than in the local tavernas .By the way several nice local tavernas are located nearby. Drinks in the hotel bar are good quality as well. There is small pool and some sunbeds adjacent to the hotel but in the summer there is public beach on the other side of the street and also small marina which could be appreciated by swimmers.

AustraliaWe would have preferred a double of queen size bed but we had 2 singles, close together. The bathroom was a bit small but I don’t think that can be changed.
The property was in a great location. Close to the hop on hop off bus stop and local bus stop. Within walking distance of Corfu town. Close to other lovely restaurants and the rooms were clean and had a balcony. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The buffet breakfast was great and the buffet dinner was good value at 20 euro per person. Across the road from a swimming beach and small convenience stores. There were no screaming kids in the pool etc
