I had the best views of Almyrida, seconds from the beach, easy street parking for my car and an awesome outdoor balcony to enjoy the area from. The hostess Anna was very welcoming and attentive. She made sure I had everything I needed and kept the place spotless. Will definitely come back 😊😊😊

I couldn't fault this accommodation. it had everything you needed in one room (spotless) and the family couldn't do enough for you, they were absolutely lovely! The location was outstanding, a balcony with a sea view, amazing! Would definitely go back.

Small balcony, but they offered us a bigger room with bigger balcony. It was our decision to stay because we were out all day.

We loved our apartment here and the hosts were exceptionally friendly, helpful and polite. They helped us out with anything that we needed and had prepared some small breakfast items and water for us upon arrival. The views from the apartment were lovely. The terrace came in handy for watching the Cretan sunset. The apartment was clean, and we were provided with new towels and toiletries during our 7 day stay. Would love to visit again. Thank you Giannis and family for your ten-star hospitality and kindness. Highly recommend!

This accommodation was the reason we opted for Almyrida and not for Kalyves. We came for the open sea view from the balcony and more than the reasonable price for 11 nights. However, we were welcomed like family. Yes, the studio is cleaned regularly and the internet worked great, too. What we carry as the best memory from the time spent at Meandros, though, is how the hosts went out of there way to make us feel like at home. The amazing family that runs this place redefines the Cretan hospitality we thought we had met with before. Completely surpassed our expectations on so many levels. Thank you so much family Giannetakis! p.s. About additional activities in the area that don't involve a car: We saw a lot of people running and cycling up the streets/roads so we took on walking routes in the mornings. We were always greeted by at least one "Good morning" or "Kalimera" which felt like walking down your own neighborhood. Except that neighborhood had olive grows :) There's a photo from one of our walks attached as well!

The room we had was the basic one, for this reason it was a little bit small in that my partner kept stubbing his toe on the bed getting past to sit on the balcony, but then again he is clumsy. :)

You could not beat the location, value and hospitality of the host.

The view of the sea was fantastic. In fact, we had the sea in front of us, and the mountains in the left. The host was very friendly, she gave us tomatoes from her garden, olive oil, and one morning we found some delicious pastries at the door. She reserved taxies for us, very prompt. Always smiling, she simply made us feel very comfortable. Although we were there for the sea, the trip by bus to Elafonisi with K travel (thank to the guide!) showed us the real Crete - there, in the mountains we passed by. We found Elafonisi too sunny and crowded, you find no place to stay. But Almyrida beach was very good for snorkeling and bathing.

I got a lovely corner apartment, with the amazing sea view and sun all the day. It was only 100 m to the beach and restaurants. The apartment was super clean and the hostess Anna was fantastic. She took care of us, felt like I was one of the family. Thanks, I´ll be back

Anna was a fabulous host, even though it had no breakfast facilities, Anna would buy me pastries and leave it at my door, she also bought me a gift as a memory from Crete. Its in a perfect location and my sea and sunset view from the large balcony was stunning. As i am travelling solo and not travelling light Anna and her sweet youngest son walked me to the bus stop. I would definitely stay there again. All facilities like supermarket, restaurants, bars and beach within 2 minutes walk.

A wonderful family run hotel 3 minutes away from a beach. The sea view from the balcony is spectacular. The host and his family are very considerate. They greeted us with a water melon and pastries and were very throughtful throughout the whole stay. It's been an absolutely great experience.

Nothing everything was perfect. I had whatever I needed. In case I had an inquiry the hosts were there for me! I was remote working. 2 times the router stuck but immediately it was restarted when I asked without any delay. It was a wonderful experience combining remote work and baths/excursions.

Next to the beach with ideal view and fully equipped kitchen in the room. My dog was warmly welcomed in the property!
