How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Everything was perfect.
Wonderful proprietor and staff. Comfortable, spacious, clean, well-designed, modern, small apartment. Ample parking. Quiet. Very close to the beach, grocery stores, restaurants, and a nice bakery.

The first time we have found a really comfortable modern studio in Crete after 22 years experience. Proper divan style beds, linen change every day, modern in house A/C systems, helpful staff, excellent location.

We didn't know how to use the safe box because there was no manual in the room. Luckily the hotel staff helped us with it. There could have been better opportunities for recycling garbage.
Cleanliness and comfortable beds. Kitchenette was really good for making breakfast. Air conditioning was also working perfectly. Also the staff was superb and helpful.

Just a percular thing, not a complaint or “bad thing” - the shower and toilet are separate to the wash basin which is basically placed in the hallway/living room area. It sounds odd but it is functional in the end of the day!
The apartment is super clean, spacious, modern and newly furnished. There is lots of parking space available. The WiFi connection is stable and there a a ton of tv channels. The bed sheets and towels are heavenly. The kitchen is small but fully equiped, from utensils to a small fridge and Nespresso machine (capsules available for refills). And lastly the staff is really kind and helpful.

I think the addition of breakfast would make the stay flawless, but this is only a suggestion

I stayed here with my wife and two small children, five and 18 months. We had an issue with a travel document and we messaged Mediterranean Dream saying we might have to delay / cancel the trip. The team got back to us within 20 minutes and said we could rearrange our dates with minimal fuss. This level of excellent service carried on throughout our amazing stay. The air con is perfect, the beds are the comfiest I’ve slept in and the rooms are so bright and modern. I really hope we can get back there soon!

Location: perfect - just a couple of steps to the beach and the Petrakis supermarket, few steps more to fantastic restaurants (Zephyros, the Palm Tree) Parking: very spacious Staff: very, very kind, caring & friendly Rooms: large, comfortable, very clean, quiet, with new equipment, modern, large windows and balconies. Lot of different light settings. Airconditioning is quiet and efficient. Even the bath textiles (towels and bathrobes) and bath cosmetics were picked with great care and offer a great quality Building: recently built, clean, with an elevator and a ramp that will be useful for persons with disabilities.

Some daytime noise from construction work nearby.

The hotel is brand new and the interior design is very modern. There is plenty of space, a lot of amenities like a kitchen and a coffee machine and large beds. Everything was very fresh and clean and kept in good order. Only about 100m to the beautiful beach.

We stayed for 5 nichts, shampoo and toilet paper was not once refilled.. It would be great if the cleaning personnel takes care of it when those were empty. I've booked a room with sea view. But you have it however only the half, as the building in front of the hotel blocks the view partially. The building in front of it is on the construction, and the worker there throws metal elements from 3rd floor to the ground.. that causes really annoying noise and makes chilling at the balcony not possible..
Nice interior, clean room, very comfortable bed, friendly hosts, great location.. pretty much everything except for some minor things..

Really liked the interior design and the very spacious terrace of the maisonette suite! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Been there twice already in two weeks and will definitely recommend it and come back.
