There was absolutely nothing that we didn't like.

We loved everything. We have stayed here a few times before, but have missed a few years during the pandemic. The hotel is gorgeous, perfect location, super quiet rooms with very comfortable beds and excellent bathroom. Everything is absolutely spotlessly clean. We had a small mix up over our booking and were upgraded to a suite by way of apology - this was completely unnecessary, but lovely all the same. All of the rooms have a stunning view over the harbour and the position at the far end of the harbour is very quiet, yet there is plenty to look at with the boats coming and going. The sea is lovely for swimming, with good steps for getting in and out. Breakfast is plentiful and varied, with lots of delicious Greek treats (the cheese filo pies are to die for). All of the staff are really lovely, and very helpful. We loved it so much that we are thinking we might go back next week (we are lucky enough to be a 20-minute ferry ride away and can actually see our village from the hotel balcony!)

The trek from the square, even with a light, wheeled, case was not easy. It was only a few minutes' walk, but the ground was very uneven. I ordered a water taxi for the return trip.

Friendly staff. Being able to have lunch at the bar, rather than walk to the restaurants in the heat. Good choice at breakfast. I had booked a suite, which was huge and very comfortable.

I wish I had asked about a taxi boat service to the hotel from where the mini bus left us after our plane ride from Rhodes. It would have saved a very tiring trip. Could be mentioned if arriving on the island by plane or boat as it is a long way around the harbour. We did use this service when we left which was very good.

Having stayed at the Megisti twice before we were looking forward to it and were rewarded. It's location while a little difficult to get to is magical, right at the point of the harbour and opposite the most iconic scene of the island. The hotel has been modernised but not lost its charm. The terrace with bar, eating area and comfortable seating is a great place to watch the boats come in and out. The closed off swimming area with lounges and umbrellas is a must for a hot day. The breakfast was outstanding, with so many choices. Our room though smallish had everything we needed for a wonderful 4 day stay. The balcony gave extra room for later in the evening sitting watching things happen in the beautiful harbour. Thank you Anna and staff for a wonderful visit to your beautiful island.

The shower drainage was a little slow. Had to be mindful it didn't overflow.

The staff were exceptional. No request we had was too difficult or a burden for the staff, literally they were amazing. The breakfast supplied was second to none, all options covered.

By far the best hotel in Kastellorizo. The location is right on the port where you can swim in a magnificent area with views of the Port and Island in general. The staff were wonderful and helpful people, especially Anna who went above and beyond in her service. I will be telling my friends and family this is where to stay in kastellorizo.

We stay 6 nights especially the staff was great. Anna took great care of everything she is a wonderful person. She did everything she could to make us comfortable. the hotel is extremely clean. comfortable. We stayed in a suite room, it was great.

The shower in our room was leaking every time we used it and there was water all over the bathroom floor.

Great location, ideal swimming spot. The staff was very polite and helpful and made our stay easy and really relaxing. Anna is a certain plus, she arranged everything and made us feel welcomed and taken care off.

10/10 stay! Amazing hotel, we had a very large room that was incredibly comfortable with beautiful views. Breakfast is amazing, full buffet available and they can even cook you special things too. Drinking cocktails on sun beds on the deck is a real treat. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff at the Megisti, particularly Anna and Vangelis, there was nothing that was too much effort for the whole team. We loved our stay here and can not wait to come back next year.

There’s so much to like. It was so comfortable. The view from the room - overlooking the beautiful harbour was amazing. The room itself was so really comfortable. Great breakfast and the staff at the hotel could not be more welcoming. I wish I’d stayed longer….next time
