Poor housekeeping service, the evening towel-change was not performed on several occasions so we had to keep chasing it up. View from the rooms overlooks a timber yard, but there's not much to be done about that...at least it's not a noisy yard!

Excellent staff in the Restaurant, Bar and Reception. Lovely infinity pool and comfortable sunbeds. Excellent food quality, just a little restricted on variety.

Everything was great

We LOVED this hotel and people working there! Konstantina is an outstanding host and manager. She gave us a very warm welcome with champagne when we arrived and made us feel like home from the minute we met her! Eugenia was very nice too. And Argiro, Antonina and Konstantin at the restaurant were amazing!!! Food was great, always fresh and very delicious. And those desserts… make sure you leave room for that after dinner. Live music in the evening, beautiful sunsets, quiet and relaxing deck with pool facing the sea. We had such a great time at this hotel and hope to return there soon!!

The meals were lovely and there was a good selection. Rooftop pool was lovely with a great view. Well positioned to walk to the beach. The room was nice a clean, super big comfy bed and good air con. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

The rooftop pool and sun lounging area is quite small, but as it is a hotel with a relatively small number of rooms and it wasn't the hottest time of the year when we stayed it wasn't an issue, although I imagine in the summer if the hotel is full it might get a little crowded, but then the beach is only a short walk away!

This is a newly opened hotel, which the staff are keen to establish as a modern and luxurious choice of place to stay, and it shows. We were incredibly impressed with the cleanliness, the quantity and quality of the food, the convenient location and the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Minos Ambassador deserves to thrive and be a great success story, and if we return to Crete we will seriously consider staying here again.

Lovely hotel, great location just two minutes to the beach, pleasant ten minute walk along seafront into the old town, the roof top terrace, dining area and pool were perfect. The very best part of this hotel is their staff, they were exceptional, reception staff very helpful, restaurant staff can not do enough to both serve and make staying at this hotel memorable, special mention to Georgia who made us laugh so often, the food was outstanding, excellently presented, we will stay at this hotel again.

amazing view from the infinity pool. Staff was great and hotel was very cozy. It's not a huge resort, but definitely totally fine for a stay when you want to explore the area as well. We enjoyed our clean room with the walk-in rainfall shower

The reception facilities and staff weren't great - one woman at a desk who spent a lot of time shuffling papers, an awkward check in, being incorrectly sent across to the partner 4* Hotel reception for our pre-booked covid test, and generally lacking in seating areas. Every interaction was under whelming. A number of facilities were shut due to Greek covid restrictions (indoor pool and sauna) but the infinity pool on the roof was open albeit it was only big enough for dipping, not for laps. Even with all facilities open the hotel configuration still doesn't quite match an expected 5* experience.

Excellent restaurant and bar team, led by the brilliant somellier who really knew his stuff and made each of his guests feel very special and welcome. Good breakfast buffet selection and nice dinner options, and a good wine list Excellent quality bed - huge, and really comfortable which made for a great night's sleep. Massage facilities were open and quality was great The location was good for us as the c. 1.5km walk to the centre along the beachfront was very nice. Overall, a really nice place to stay in at the right price, but doesn't quite live up to its 5 stars.

Lost power and water twice in 2 days was not a nice experience especially when you just came back from the beach and badly in need of a shower.

It is new hence the room is modern, spacious and clean. Love how they mop the floor as part of daily room service to keep it clean. Nice view from the roof top resturant, where we had breakfast and dinner.
