The view is absolutely spectacular, the best on the whole island. It's a very peaceful place to go on holiday and take the opportunity to disconnect. You open the bedroom door and all you see in front of you is the sea... the sea and... the sea. The room has everything you need to be comfortable. There are numerous restaurants near the hotel, excellent beaches and it's a great island with few people compared to other islands like Santorini or Mikonos. For me, it's the real Greek island that stands out for its simplicity.

Would have liked a kettle! We are Brits!

Stunning hotel, incredible vistas and sunsets, our room was one of the highest in the town. Please ignore negative comments about the climb to the hotel - we likened it to 3 minutes on the stairmaster in the gym, it really was fine and very well located for Hora.

Driveway to enter property is extremely steep. If you're not in good physical shape should rent a car.

The walk up the hill to the hotel is steep. We had to stop along the way to catch our breath …it is doable but it is a draw back to this wonderful place.

The size of the room and view was excellent. The cappuccino in the morning, although extra, was so very good.

Nothing. Maybe the shower can be improved a little bit

The place is amazing. The hotel is way better than in the pictures. It is new and comfy. The view is amazing and the location is great because it is close to the Chora but not in the Chora

It’s a big hill to get there but to get that stunning panorama that’s the trade off. An ATV or hire car solves that problem

Perfect stay. Room and view were excellent. In fact, the room was simple but with excellent taste. Amazing views on the Mediterranean and Chora church up the hill. Shuttle to the ferry worked excellently.

Very steep walk to the hotel from the main road.

Absolute fantastic hotel, very nice room's and facilities. Breakfast was available but we didn't use it Only 15 min walk to centre of the town We loved the pool and relaxing on the sunbeds overlooking the sea. Lovely staff and hotel owner

Miramare is the perfect little hotel with the perfect view of the island and church. The pool is fantastic to relax and cocktails, snacks, coffee and food are made on the premises. The owners really care and collected us from the port and dropped us off. We saw some complaints about the stairs to the hotel, we didn't experience this at all! We drove our quads right outside the hotel, it was perfect.

Just my opinion but… I would have liked to see more then two sleeping pillows, a simple piece of art/decor above the bed on the big blank wall, a nice crisp white window curtain instead of the sheer grey. Grey/brown/tans always feel somewhat dirty to me even if they aren’t.

Quiet hilltop accommodation. Nice pool. Roomy bathroom. Clean rooms & servicing. The view of the church was lovely both night/day. Small clothesline/pins & plastic tub to wash a few items and hang to dry on your uncovered patio. Small table & chairs there also for a morning coffee or evening sunset view. Both close enough & fairly flat 10 minute walk to the village for coffee, meals, shops, grocery and simply strolling the narrow paths to take pictures; however those with accessibility issues take note that the walk/drive up to the hotel is steep and could not be made with a wheelchair, walker etc. The owner was very helpful and a few small needs were met above what is provided in the room. (Electric kettle & drip coffee maker)

The room was not perfectly clean. Mirrors were smeared. There was dust in many places. We missed hanging options for towels, etc.

Our room was very nice. The view from the balcony was absolutely amazing - we loved it! The room was very big and we had a lot of space. At the check out day we could stay a little bit longer in the room, that was perfect. The man at the reception organised us a hire-car. The bed was comfortable.

This is not a good choice for anyone with mobility issues as there is a very steep and quite long hill to climb up from the road to the hotel ( a struggle for cars & motor bikes even!!) .

The Hotel with one of the best views on the Island, we loved our stay , Room was very good larger than we were expecting and comfortable with plenty outdoor space .The whole place was always spotlessly clean , Yanis and his team do a great job in making sure that guests are happy and comfortable . Nice breakfast , but limited choice ( OK if your only staying 2 nights ) Great swimming pool. A good base from which to explore the island.

Because of the elevated location there is a steep climb to the property. But it's well worth it!

Amazing elevated views of Chora and the church. Really clean, serviced regularly and lovely staff.
