How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Noisy at night but this is typical because you’re in the city center.

Noisy late at night / early hours of morning but the whole of Athens probably is,
Good breakfast with view of Acropolis. Location excellent for the tourist sites and easy metro from the airport. Room fantastic. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely return if ever back in Athens.

All fine!
The staff is the biggest asset in this hotel Gentle, helpful, knowledgeable. The view from the rooftop is very beautiful. It is a delight to have the abundant breakfast with the sight of the Acropolis. The hotel's location is great. You can reach the highlights of Athens by foot, and the closeness to Monastiraki makes it easy to reach other destinations like having a great seafood lunch in Piraeus Port or arriving/ going to the airport.

We loved absolutely everything about the MiraMe but especially the wonderful, informative & helpful staff, the amazing breakfast served on the rooftop & the comfort of the room, the shower was fabulous & housekeeping fantastic!!! Location could not be better, book & enjoy!

Breakfast , was not great. The staff in the restaurant could not be bothered to be helpful . When the food arrived it was not hot , and you had to ask for extras like salt , pepper etc.
The location was excellent, local to all the restaurants and sights. The room was fantastic and a great view of the acropolis. George and Tannis at reception were very courteous and helpful.

Can get a bit noisy on Saturday evenings on the orher side you are centrally located and there are great restaurants in 2-3 walking minutes away.
Very friendly and helpful staff, fresh and delicious breakfast with Acropolis view, great rooftop bar, cozy rooms with a great shower, a very welcoming and beautiful place with a warm atmosphere.

Everything was perfect
Everything was really good. It was our first in Greece. The room was cleaned everyday. The staff was very helpful. Location is in the 10 minutes walk from acropolis. The room was also silent. And breakfast was really great.

Due to the busy surroundings and immediate proximity to the road in front of the hotel, car drop-offs / pick-ups are not easy.

The street is very noisy day and night, so I would not come back unless I got a room towards the courtyard.
Perfect 3 days - great location, everything in walking distance (10 min to the Akropolis main entrance). Very nice, relatively new hotel and rooms, super-friendly staff and amazing breakfast at the roof-top bar with a great view.

Very welcoming checkin with a glass of wine. We were asked to select what we wanted for breakfast daily and we tried different options. The location was just perfect to explore the city, we didn’t require public transportation. Perfect staff.

Excellent location, within walking distance from all main attractions. Plus only 5 mins away from the metro station. Very comfortable room, super clean and very spacious. Excellent breakfast which gives you energy for the rest of the day. Great and friendly staff.
