Need some sort of ‘pilot light’ to use the loo during the night without waking up the other occupant of the room; the current setup lights up the (open) basin/shower area as well

Great location in the old town, our city view room was very silent despite being in the center of the nightlife. Clean and spacious room. Friendly staff. Well equipped room (coffee machine, boiler, fridge, bathrobes etc. ).

Unfortunately the air con was not reacting to my commands (not even to turning it off) so it stayed on for the night. Still, it was eco-conscious to neutrally set them at 24 degrees, so I was not chilly.

Check-in was seamless and the staff (in particular Athena, the manager) is wonderful and super friendly. Walk in shower and high ceilings and fresh, fluffy towels available. I also love that even though I did a single occupancy booking, I was provided with 2 bath and 2 hand towels as well as a generous amount of ammenities. Located right at the entrance of the old town and central to everything.

The transfer from the airport was not included in the price. The suites did organise pick up for me however.

The apartment was in the perfect location, situated in the old town with a view of the beachfront and port. Facilities were spotless and the suite was modern and chic. Athena was extremely helpful and accommodating, offering her recommendations when required.

The hotel is in the perfect location - one step outside the door and you’ll be soaking up all the atmosphere of Rethymno’s old town! The standard room we booked was spacious, comfortable and very pretty. It was perfect and had everything we needed! The team is really lovely. Athena made sure our room was ready for an early check-in. On top of that, they were welcoming and friendly to talk to. Thank you for making our stay even more special than it was! Would definitely go back :)

Parking is missing.

Although it’s in the middle of the city center, there was no noise (pretty good isolation). Room was big enough and clean. Staff were amazing and responsive.

No elevator (all hotels in old city). No direct taxi access. LOTS of stairs to climb with luggage. No bell person to help with bags. Some of the rooms have loft beds which means more stairs in room.

There was no parking space, but we understand that because it is in the middle of the city center. We parked our car close to the rethymno beach. ( 8-10min away on foot) The parking costs 14-16 euro per night which is not that bad.

The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel is located in the city center so you can just go out and come back easily. The shower was great! The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful!

Stayed for the Carnival. Ideal central location which - of course - was noisy at night but wasn't trying to sleep then. Very quiet in the mornings. Great shower!

No negatives for us.

Absolutely loved this hotel, and will definitely stay here again when we return to Rethymno. Lovely large room and little internal terrace. Bed was very comfortable. Perfectly located - central but peaceful. Reception staff were absolutely lovely.

It is in a slightly noisy area but the rooms are well sound-proofed so any noise is marginal.

What didn’t I like???? The room itself was bright, airy and decorated in an upmarket, contemporary style. The view across the seafront was so pretty and a joy to wake up to. The shower was unreal! Never known water pressure like it in Greece. The bed, my goodness, so soft and at the same time, so supportive! The room was tremendous value for money. Oh, and the location could not have been more central, directly in the middle of the old town and it’s charming labyrinth of winding streets leading to the stunning Venetian harbour front. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful, they really made me feel like they wanted me there.

This part of the harbour is extremely noisy all night long. So the sea view has a price. Maybe the rooms with a street view are quieter.

Very friendly, flexible and helpful staff. The room was lovely, well equipped and clean. Nice view on the harbour. Very well located, directly on the harbour, in a pedestrian area, everything is accessible by foot, no car needed to visit the city. Due to the pedestrian area, taxis are only allowed to stop in front of the hotel until 11 am. Later access is by foot only.
