Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Kingdomnothing. this was a lovely place!
Honestly this was one of the best places I’ve ever visited! There was something magical about it. Mitsis concept seems to be to make every visitor cared for and it showed. Staff was absolutely lovely and warm, so caring and with smile. I had all inclusive and food was great and plentiful. Room was smaller but cozy, clean with bathrobes. Location was spot on. I had broken my leg recently and had to walk with a crutch and they helped immensely for me to feel more relaxed and even sent a small gift. I mean, just wow!

United StatesAll was good! We would return again!
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Nicos, the desk manager, was especially helpful. The breakfast and dinner buffets were reasonably priced, and good variety and quality. The hotel is walking distance to the old city, port, and beach.

The staff were really friendly, made th for extra effort to make you feel welcome and like friends rather than customers. It is well located to get to the old town and the beach, as well as the port if you have a day trip booked. The food was really good and was varied day to day l, plenty of options for both meat eaters and veggies

United KingdomThe pool are is a bit tired and could do with a makeover but it was perfectly useable.
The staff were exceptional. We weren’t booked into this hotel originally, the hotel we’d booked was awful so we found petit Palais last minute. On arrival we were upgraded to all inclusive free of charge and our room was ready 10 minutes later, the staff were fantastic. The dining room is like a restaurant not a canteen with table service for drinks. The food was different every day and of a very high standard. The rooms are spacious and clean and we had a large balcony with table and chairs and sun loungers. We only used the pool area once because we didn’t have children with us so we decided to use the beach as it’s only a two minute walk away.

HungaryOur "roomneighbours" were insanely loud, we couldn't sleep, but the receptionist gave us another room, which was absolutly calm, nice and quiet, so we could sleep and enjoy our vacation. They were helpful.
The room was clean and comfy, the beach is close to the hotel.

Czech RepublicIn general we were a bit disappointed. Cigarette smell in our room for the first 2 days. The stuff is smiling but they are not very helpful. Dirty swimming pool. My husband got food poisoning after dinner in the hotel restaurant (we did not eat anywhere else that day)
Close to the beach, nice balcony view.

AustraliaIn the bathroom, the shower screen was not wide enough and the shower head was placed in the middle of the wall. Sometimes the bathroom floor got flooded as a result. At breakfast the fresh orange juice was very popular and would constantly run out. There would be a long wait to have the dispenser refilled - I would suggest a second bottle be filled so that there would just be a straight swap when one was empty and guests could then have a more constant supply.
Room was clean and spacious, plenty of wardrobe space and large bathroom. Beds were comfortable. All staff were very courteous and polite. Great location and the breakfast was very generous with lots to choose from.

United KingdomAlthough the hotel was wonderful, the only downfall was without our key AC was not working, every time we left our room we had to disconnect our key from the main power outlet meaning when we left the room the AC was not on.
Food was lovely as well as the bar staff. Entertainment was great as well! Location was wonderful it is only a minute away from the beach which was ideal. Would recommend staying here it was truly an amazing experience!

LithuaniaFor this type of hotel there was too small pool area densed really tight with sunbeds (we used beach -7,5e per sunbed 2 minutes away ) No gym, mitsis grand hotel 2 minutes away has one and entry 10eur for day entrance
Ok, so I have a long history visiting different hotels due to the nature of my work (and really luxurious ones), but it’s hard for me to remember the hotel where the food would be sooooooo good as in this one. Every day different food is served, variety is more than enough and quality is superb. I can’t recall any other place where I was not tempted to explore non hotel dining places. In addition, as many other people already mention pizzas are amazing :) Second- the staff. Everyone from receptionists to room cleaning personel was super helpful and nice. Really nice animations in evenings (for adults)

AustraliaThe pool area was dreadfully crowded. Too many people and not enough of a pool! There appeared to be a lot of cupboards in the bedroom but one of the wardrobes with the very narrow shelves was completely useless, as there was very little you could store there.
The Petit Palace hotel is in a good location, especially for the beach. It’s quite a big hotel, bigger than the boutique hotels we normally stay at. We wanted a pool though so picked this.
