While the beds were comfy, the 8-person dorms are reminiscent of sleeping in a coffin and difficult to navigate if you're not the spryest anymore. Next time I know to book a 4 bed dorm (as shown) to avoid that "early grave" feeling. Using the (extremely well-equipped) kitchen sadly required climbing or descending the stairs as it is on the mezzanine level which isn't served by the elevator.

Aesthetics, friendliness, breakfast, warm welcome, facilities. The lovely balcony outside the room, the lovely toilets and showers en suite. The working elevator. The non-smoking room. Although not terribly social, there was ample space for socializing. Others here who said the breakfast was lacking apparently forgot that they were staying in a Hostel. The breakfast had a wonderful variety of choices including such local treats as fresh spanakopita and other baked goods, delicious all.

The best thing about this hostel is the location and the facilities. It's in the city and near the places I wanted to go, the reception was always very polite and happy to help and the room was clean and comfy. My fav part is the bathroom in the room, large and always clean.

Location is perfect, 5 minutes walk to nearby metro station Monastiraki and 10 minute walk from square Syntagma. I rented a Single Bed in 8-Bed Mixed Dormitory Room with Balcony. Room was big, 2 wc and 2 showers, keep in mind that one of the wc's is at the same time a shower room. Lockers free to use and able to unlock with digital cards. Charge point near bed and outside balcony, also at the wall.

It's a shame towels were included for free, as this was what I've normally experienced with good hostels, same for leaving bags on the day of departure,

Fantastic hostel in the best location. Staff were very friendly, and overall really enjoyed my stay. Bathrooms in the shared dorm were also great, much nicer than I've ever experienced! Rooftop is really nice too, and Wi-Fi stretches up there so it was possible to work from there.

Wish we had more lights in each bed. The area is surrounded by cafe/ club/ restaurants, so it's noisy at night. The selection of breakfast could be improved.

The staff are so friendly, they gave recommendation of places to eat and visit. Tried to have genuine conversations with guests, seems like they enjoy what they're doing. Keep it up! I like the location of the hostel. It's 10 min walk to the nearest Metro station. The place is surrounded by restaurants, cafe, clubs, it's so alive at night even in low season like November. Room and bathrooms are spacious. Housekeeping cleans up the room everyday (appreciate this!).
