I wish I could rate this place even higher. The house was lovely, the view spectacular, and the location was perfect. Our host was very available and left lovely treats for us. We would absolutely stay there again.

A truly authentic place in a fantastic location. Being unable to use cars there, the house's position at the gate's entrance was ideal. This allowed us to easily transport our suitcases to the house. Rena was the best and the most friendly host we’ve ever had! She helped us out with everything we needed! It felt like when you come visit your family.

The view was fantastic! The pictures on booking.com do not do it justice. The town is magical and getting to stay right in the heart of it was the best part. Our hostess was so accommodating and wonderful. Very sweet and full of recommendations. She provided some snacks and fruits, even drinks! Overall an extraordinary stay.

If you happen to be in Monemvasia and you are lucky enough to have this property available during hour stay, book it immediately. It is ideally located just beyond the castle gate so you don’t have to lug your things across town (remember cars are not allowed inside the castle wall). It is recently renovated but is an authentic Greek home with a jaw-dropping view of the water from its very large private balcony. The kitchen is well stocked and the host, Rena, is a joy to meet. Monemvasia itself is a unique and beautiful gem of a town. We hope to come back and when we do, we hope to stay at Myrsini’s again.

What a lovely stay! It’s a beautifully restored old home, very near to the gates of the castle (so convenient), but it also feels very private and away from the tourists. The space was great for our group, good size, two bathrooms and stocked kitchen and the private terrace has a fantastic view right to the ocean. Also, Rena was absolutely wonderful! She was not only friendly and accommodating, but she had lots of excellent recommendations both in Monemvasia and in the surrounding area. Highly recommend!

The house is magnificent, very conveniently located close to the entrance of the castle. The view is really nice and the veranda is great for afternoon- night chill-out. It is spacious, clean, with all the amenities we needed. The owner is extremely hospitable and kind. There are some options for breakfast nearby, even an option for breakfast brought to the door by a nearby cafe. In brief, we couldn’t have asked more!

everything was perfect: the beautiful house is tastefully decorated, confortable, very well equipped, the view from the terrace is stunning, the location is great: a few meters from the entrance gate inside the kastro but in a quiet area and we felt really welcomed by Rena (who speaks at least Greek, English and French). She left us a welcome pack of handmade marmalades, fresh fruits, juices, softs, wine and bread for our arrival, helped us with the luggage, gave us us great advise for our stay, always kept in touch to make sure we didn’t need anything and she is one of the rare people who actually lived in the kastro, so she knows a lot about everything in the area. If you can afford it, go ahead without hesitation. Monemvassia is gorgeous and so is the area around.

Great location in the castle. It is one of the first homes, therefore the walk is easy. The house is large, clean and has a wonderful patio with a view. The castle is MAGICAL! The host had a salad and a bottle of wine waiting for us! She was extremely gracious and accommodating as she let us leave at our convenience upon checkout because there were no guests coming in that day. I would visit there again and again.

The house is in an amazing location, right at the entrance of the castle, very close to the nice bars and restaurants. Moreover, it has an amazing balcony/terrace overlooking the sea. It's the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee/breakfast and sit and chill for hours.

Great house in a breathtaking location, stunning views and a super nice host. The house was super clean and equipped with everything. Rena took great care of us, advised on local 'to do's' (i.e. private olive oil tasting, where to get the best fresh fish, etc.) and supported on all pending questions! Definitely not the last time we visited Rena's house in Monemvasia, we loved it!

The apartment is absolutely stunning, wonderful setting, in the heart of the old castle of Monemvasia. The view is breathtaking! Rena is a great host...wine, fruits etc waited for us. She had very good recommendations on what to do, good restaurants etc. Highly recommend this place, great with kids but also for couples/friends. Rooms and bathroom top modern! Thank you!!!

Could not have asked for better accommodation - everything exceeded our expectations tenfold! The house is conveniently located by the main gate which made it easy with carrying the luggage and also being close to the main strip of the town. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated and has an amazing terrace with a great view of the sea. Everything was super clean, comfortable and well-appointed. We were very thoughtfully provided with beach towels, fruit, drinks and water. I cannot say enough good things about our host, Rena. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after. Would be an excellent option for both a couple on a romantic trip or a larger group as there are plenty of sleeping options.
