How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The staff was so friendly and familiar, we felt almost at home, as soon as we arrived. The room was nice and tastefully decorated, the bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was more than reasonable for the price, with fresh fruit and vegetables, which was a plus for us. They even have a corner with beach umbrellas that we could borrow for the duration of our stay. Georgia is an amazing host, approaching everyone in their own language, playing cards with guests, she is precious. We were welcomed with warm smiles anytime we came or went. The hotel's location is perfect, a few steps from all the restaurants, bars, and the beach. Wonderful!

Amazing location, fantastic staff, room a little dated (we were in a studio not main hotel rooms which are newer) but everything was as advertised and a very comfortable bed. We would def go back.

The rooms at the ground floor are a little too dark. Will definitely choose a room upstairs (if they have any with 2 single beds)

We liked everything.
I loved this little place, the owners, the soft music at the reception, the room and all the small little details, the view from our small balcony. We were shown very much care and attention and we recommend this place to everyone who wants to have a pleasant stay in Agios Nikitas.

The facilities are clean but a bit amortised.
They have a big secured parking space in a walking distance , which is a HUGE plus in the village. All restaurants and bars are 1-2 min walking distance. The staff is super friendly

Small bathroom, shower curtain too short so water runs onto the floor.

We had to constantly empty bottle for ac otherwise it leaked inside the room onto the bed that was under it. Room is not upgraded like photos on website. Wi-Fi doesn’t work inside the room. Trash was not emptied before our arrival.
Location, private parking on the main road, beach umbrellas available for use.

Would be nice to have a hairdryer in the bathroom
Liked everything, especially the hospitality of the hosts who were very kind. Location is great, close to restaurants and beach ( both Milos and Agios Nikitas). Rooms were cleaned everyday, parking is provided, breakfast is really great for 3€. You can also borrow beach umbrellas if you don't have one. Would definetely recommend it to anyone to stay here

Staff didn’t assist carrying the luggage up the stairs to our room.
Nefeli House is a great getaway destination. Compared to other places we stayed, the bed was comfortable and shower excellent. The landlady was attentive and friendly. Nefeli House offers free beach umbrellas to use. It is located near the top of the street, enough distance away from the busy and noisey section.

The hosts are very friendly and the rooms are cleaned every day. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the beach and close to the restaurant. It has its own parking lot what is necessary in this place.

Lovely place to stay. Very close to beach and all the restaurants in Ag.Nikitas. Comfortable and clean rooms. So kind and friendly hosts. We would definietly come back and stay again.
