How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Really great stay as a couple at NEREA. From arrival to goodbye, the staff is at your service the whole time, smiles included. Location is a bonus, if you like the beatch, beach bars, local restaurants and small beach towns, as all of that is only 20 steps away from your hotel doorstep. The hotel is perfectly up to date, clean as a whistle and has everything you need to sit back and relax, the spacious terrace not to say the least. Would recommend this for sure! Gertjan & Severine

Beautiful location at the end of Plakias beach. Quiet location with the main area for restaurants and shops just a quick walk or drive away. Hotel was modern, brand new and very clean. 30 second walk to the beach, this was also the best side of Plakias beach with no rocks and less crowds. Really enjoyed our stay here, thank you!

A little bit out from the main town which helps with the relaxation but makes for a walk on the sun to get anywhere.
Very new and modern design. Lovely pool area and everything had been thought through for guests down to the details of the room. Very relaxing place to stay.

The airco kept shutting off, constantly had to check if it was on. More than 10 times a day. They said it’s the door opening but we weren’t opening any doors. Odd. Couldn’t get the room colder than 22 but that’s comfortable for me. & there was construction noises at 8am but ya know I can’t really complain it was a great hotel
The staff was super friendly, the room was absolutely stunning, got a bathtub and a view of the ocean! Not sure if that’s what I booked, I think I was upgraded Super lovely. It was close to a realllllyyy good restaurant, paligremnos. Super friendly staff, beachbar, and my mates had their wedding dinner there. Markus was very nice to us and the young lady at reception was so nice. Small friendly hotel, felt very cozy. Can’t go on about the pool enough either it was so nice

new hotel, we got the duplex apartment, the place was clean, towels has been changed every day and the beds where set as well. the place has nice kitchen and balcony. the hotel located next to a nice beach. the owner is very kind.

The staff could be more responsive on-site No "hard" separation between the bathroom / toilets and the bed / living room - might not be suitable for everyone.
Very nice staff and great responsiveness prior to the visit. Excellant room cleaning services. The rooms and equipment are relativly new. Great accomodation for the price.

very anonymous and no one at the reception desk. Ugly view to backyard and parking space even in first row with sea view. loud at night because of the street close by. no opportunity to habe breakfast.

Would be a lovely extra to have a breakfast option delivered to the room, as there is no onsite restaurant. we used a local bakery which was lovely.
Lovely new property, great small hotel free from all of the hustle and bustle. The duplex rooms are excellent. Very laid back approach which is perfect for a relaxing holiday. The beach is right across the road along with a couple of lovely beach bars, if you follow the beach there are more tavernas etc. The taverna right by the hotel is also lovely. Excellent facilities for us us use before our late flight. Overall a perfect relaxed stay.

The hotel is not beachfront, also there is no Sea View from most of the rooms. The pool at night is used not only by hotel residents. So there was no such thing as comfortable sleep as well, as all rooms had windows and balconies facing the pool. Sleep in the early mornings also got disturbed, as there were loud construction works nearby. Also please take note, that beach loungers are not included. Only pool ones. Lastly, we were located in the lower-price room without any notifications. Plus, we requested early check-in, which was confirmed by hotel personnel, however, when we arrived, they were not ready to move us in.
The room's interior is very nice.

The AC fan makes a clicking noise so that was very annoying. Has to wear ear plugs. Really hated the shower and bathroom though. No shower curtains but big overhead shower head, spray nozzle water gets everywhere, no hair conditioner or lotion offered.
Location was good but very walkable to the city. We had the room with the loft so the balcony and rooftop were nice. I liked the high ceilings.

Aircon was set to 23.5 degrees. It was over 30 degrees outside. The manager refused to change it and advised that the temperature was acceptable. Also no breakfast available and no phone in the room. Also nobody at reception desk so had to rely on messages for assistance
