Nikolas, his wife and family are exceptional hosts. Everything from the pick up at the ferry port to driving us around the island was fantastic. The studio was immaculate and you are often surprised with fruit from the garden and freshly baked pies. It’s a short walk to Skala with its shops and restaurants, and also another short walk to the beach . Amazing week.

The hospitality of Nicolas and his family. Took us to the monastery to beaches. Gave us fruit and veggies from hud property. Picked us up from the ferry and dropped us back. A wonderful host made us feel so at home. A wonderful stay would come back again. It was lovely!

Nicolas was an amazing host, helpful, generous and fun Location - one needs to walk up / down steep hill to get to beach 1k distant which could be difficult for older people.

I had a hard time using the shower without getting water everywhere but slowly got used to it.

Nicolas and his family are amazing hosts. My friend and I had a fantastic time. He picked us up from the port and dropped us back, gave us watermelons from time to time, and definitely went the extra mile to make sure we feel at home.

The management and staff at Nicolas Studios were exceptionally hospitable and friendly. Very comfortable beds, clean room. Lovely garden and seating area to enjoy fruit and coffee from our hosts and share with other guests. The room and grounds were exactly as described so there were no surprises, all expectations we had were either met or exceeded :) a lovely comfortable place to stay in Patmos.

Nothing it was a perfect stay with a perfect host

Picked up at the port by the owner Nicolas who was lovely he made us feel really welcome he drove us to the accommodation told us to leave our bags in reception and pointed for us to take a seat under a shaded area. He came back with a plate full of water melon and introduced us to his daughter who had brought us a glass of orange. We chatted a while Nicolas and his whole family made us feel so welcome. The room was spotless, comfortable bed with good quality pillows and bedding, his wife had left some cake and biscuits for us which she had made. Nicolas gave us eggs from his chickens ( which he had hard boiled ) some home grown tomatoes, and some home made rice puddings which was made with the milk from his goat....amazing. He also arranged mopeds for us which were delivered direct to the apartments. He also took us free of charge to the Monastery and a little tour of the island. On our last day he dove us to a beach we wanted to go to and collected us later, Nicolas is a really kind genuine man along with his lovely wife, 2 sons and daughter who all run the accommodation has a family business...nothing is too much trouble.....thank you so much for a fabulous stay, if ever we return to Patmos we would definitely come and stay at your apartments.

Nothing could have been better. Everything worked perfectly!

This place is the absolute best!! We were not expecting something so beautiful—we passed some fields of grapes and tomatoes, parked and came through a lovely herb garden. The family of Nikolaos greeted us enthusiastically and kindly let us check in a little early. They offered us watermelon (which they probably grew themselves) and later gave us a whole tray of traditional Greek sweets freshly baked by Nikolaos’ wife. They chatted with us, made sure we were comfortable, and at the end of our trip they gave us and some other guests a ride to our ferry! We sincerely wish that we had found this place earlier. The family was even making an effort to give us some practice in speaking Greek, though this requires some patience at our level of learning! We will never forget their hospitality. As for the building, it is one of the most gorgeous ones I even saw on the island: wooden window frames, shutters, bedframes, and doors, clean linens, perfect white walls inside and out of the building in the classic Greek island style. Surrounded by potted plants and rows of wooden planters with paths through, and a little gazebo. I wondered if it might be a new building, but no, it is apparently 20 years old (at least), so this is just a testament to how well the family takes care of everything. We will absolutely come back someday.

This is truly my home away from home! Sparkling clean and functional furnished rooms/studios in best location, just outside the city centre with amazing view of the harbour. Nearest beach is 8 minutes walking from the studios, 5 minutes to a very well stocked supermarket and veggies and fruits shop. The nearest taverna is about 200m from the studios and serves great food at very good prices. Studios are located in a peaceful surrounding, overlooking a beautiful garden. What really makes the difference is Nicolas and his family. From the moment we arrived, he took great care of us, driving us to all the unforgettable places Patmos has to offer. He and his lovely wife offered us homemade food and products from their garden and fresh eggs from their own chickens. I must admit, I have never experienced such a amazing hosts. They do it because they really care about the guests, this is not just another accommodation, this is family! I already miss them.

Nicolas and his family were beyond hospitable. From picking me up at the port to insisting on driving me around to the beaches and monastery to serving rice pudding made with their goat’s milk as a mid-afternoon treat. Greek hospitality at its finest.

This is a very special place. We felt like part of the family from the moment Nicolas picked us up from the ferry. Room was clean and cozy with some home baked cake and eggs fresh eggs their chickens waiting when we arrived. Nicolas and his family simply can’t do enough for you! Hope to stay longer next time!

Nothing, everything was fine.

Everything about the property is great, the room is spacious and clean and the small balcony just right for an alfresco breakfast. The location is perfect, quiet but within walking distance of everything Skala has to offer. Although the studio is good the star of the show has to be Nicolas and his family. You are warmly welcomed and nothing is too much trouble; from tours around the island with Nicolas’ enthusiastic commentary, his wife’s tasty home made treats and the friendliness of his three children. Thank you all so much for your generous hospitality.

Nicolas and his wife are the most amazing hosts. They do everything they can to make you welcome . I am nervous about driving n Greece so Nicolas gave me a tour of the island. His wife makes the best cake and they gave me eggs from their chickens His recommendations for good tavernas and quiet beaches were appreciated. Always offering melon, or cake or a lift somewhere Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay

Leaving our friends!

Have stayed before. Nicolas is great. Pick up and drop off at ferry and free rides around the island are always a bonus. It is just a simple, relaxing place to stay. Visiting with Nicolas and Theologica is truly like visiting family. Hope to do it again!

We loved this apartment, it is beautiful. Our ferry didn’t arrive until 1.30 am and Nicolas and his wife picked us up at the port. He even took us sight seeing and dropped us at the beach one day then back to the port when we were leaving. He was so helpful, the apartment was spotless and in a stunning location. Would highly recommend

Nicholas studios were just out of town away from the noise and fumes of cars and bikes. A 5 min walk past the port. It is run by a family headed by the ever helpful Nichola. He picked us up,drove us up to the monastery as our rooms were not quit ready. Niicholas also drove us to a few beaches and small towns along the way. The rooms were spacious and orientated towards the town over looking his land where he keeps chooks and goats. We were given freshly boiled eggs and some delicious homemade breads and cakes. As our boat to Syros was at 23.50 Nicholas offered our room to us for the day at a reduced price and drove us to the boat with our luggage. Throughout our stay fresh fruit was constantly delivered. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you to the Family of Nicholas

No sea view, but you can not have everything!

Nicolas stay is the perfect place. - Great hosts. Very helpful, nice and available for any need. - Perfect location, central in the island and close to any beach. Can reach the closest one (Melloi) on foot or any beach by motorbike within 15-20 minutes. Great value for money, and thanks Nicolas and family!
