Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWe found the bed a little uncomfortable - noticed they all had mattress toppers. The jacuzzi was cold, so we didn't use it. These are personal preference so don't take away from the fact this was a fantastic hotel and I'd highly recommend.
This hotel exceeded our expectations. The pools are modern and the surroundings are beautiful. So many places to sit and relax and take in the beautiful gardens or the gorgeous bright blue sea. The rooms are spacious and clean. Basic toiletries provided (shower gel and shampoo), a hairdryer and bath and pool towels (you can't take these to the beach). There was a fridge in the room and a kettle (but you need to bring your own tea/coffee etc). The WiFi was good. The bar staff were very friendly and made great cocktails. The reception staff were extremely helpful and gave us tips about the local area and Thessaloniki. Parking was plentiful. The location was good, a 5 minute walk to Kallithea and a 25 minute walk to Afytos. We found a hire car essential to getting about and exploring, as by foot you are limited. However, if you just wanted a week away to relax completely- this is the place. The pools are fantastic, there is an indoor pool and jacuzzi, games room, gym and sauna and outdoor chess. We had the bed and breakfast option and the breakfast each day was slightly different, a good variety and the view was fantastic. We ate from the lunch menu and there were lots of options and the food tasty.

SerbiaSpending time in the Nostos Hotel is a truly great pleasure. If you want to relax in nice nature, with pine trees and a breathtaking view of the turquoise sea, the Nostos is the right place. We enjoy lying in sunbeds on the terrace surrounded by pine trees and looking at the sea. The Deluxe double room is spacious, and comfortable, with a big bathroom and nice terrace. The bad is very comfortable. Cleanliness is at a high level. Breakfast is excellent, with enough meal choices. The restaurant offers just enough meals and drinks, at reasonable prices. We had lunch and dinner, several times, and the food was delicious. The staff is polite and friendly. We will definitely be happy to come back to Nostos again!

SerbiaMight be nitpicking but, no accessible showers near pool, so you have to go to gym or in your hotel room.
Nice courtyard with a large pool. There are sunbeds on cliff terraces which have a great view plus shades from the trees. There is a pathway in cliff where you can climb down to the small rocky beach (not maintained by hotel). Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Big parking lot that is protected at night by a security guard. 1km of walk to Kalitea (restaurants there have more traditional Greek food). The whole hotel is some sort of a small resort, so you have everything you need: restaurant, gym, bar... At some nights there is a live acoustic music (until midnight).

BelgiumThere were ants in the room and the bathroom was not very nice, it was a bit smelly but overall we loved the hotel very much. The WiFi could definitely be improved.
This hotel is fantastic! Very beautiful setting and scenery. It is on a top of a cliff and we had the opportunity to look at the sea while having an amazing breakfast. The pool area is very beautiful. Beds really comfortable and we were able to have a nice sleep. There is a parking. The staff is very nice and polite. The hotel is in a calm area so not noisy at all but at the same time it is situated between Afytos and Kalithea so a perfect location. There are nice beaches around.

United KingdomAbsolutely nothing.
For a mid range hotel, only rated 3 stars, this is by far one of the best resort hotels I've stayed in. The facilities are exceptional, both modern and traditional. The food was also excellent, well priced and good portions. The staff team offers a warm and welcoming service. I also really like the fact it felt very calm and relaxing. It could easily be an adults only hotel, or at least over 10 years only. In mid August there were very few children at all, so it felt perfect for us as a couple who left the kids at home for the week (not on there own, obviously) The star system is completely outdated and in my opinion of the facilities and services, this is easily a 4 star if not 5! Who needs a bath anyway, they are bad for the environment and room service,! The bar and restaurant are a stones throw from your room and we were offered to have our meal bought to our terrace if we wanted to. But why would you with views like this .....

Great location, there are beautiful beaches around and you can get them in 5-min driving. The hotel itself is a real hidden gem, with a very well designed garden. You can enjoy the spectacular views from the restaurant bar, or just relax in the zen garden.

IsraelThe hotel and the staff are just lovely!! We loved everything.
We were very, very happy with the hotel!! very clean very indulgent. There is a private beach. The pool is lovely with an attached bar. The staff provides excellent service. We always felt that they wanted us to have a good time, that we would enjoy ourselves at the hotel. In the end we only realized that it was a hotel run by a grandfather, his children and grandchildren. It is so noticeable. The price compared to what we got, was really cheap. We would love to come back again. The location: We wanted to find a hotel with a similar price or twice as much, in the other part of Halkidiki. on the second or third finger. But we didn't find it. Everything there was at least three times more expensive. That's why we came to this area. where the hotels are cheaper, because this area is less spectacular. But... if you want to get to this area, then this is the most worthwhile hotel in our opinion.
