the hotel is situated in the heard of the Old Town, just around the harbour. It is a wonderful building, the rooms great, and it has a roof terracce overlooking the harbour. Staff is friendly and supportive. One should mention that since this is an traditionsl builidng it has wonderfuls stairs but no lift. Careful in case you carry heavy luggage.

the hotel is inside an old beautiful and cosy venetian style palazzo. i'm sure i was lucky enough to have the best room of all, with an amazing view on the old port. the room was very spacious with a salotto and the bedroom on a mezzanine. a quick look around has shown me that the hotel has a lot of beautiful details, especially the lovely terraces and altanas, full of plants and flowers.

It was in the heart of Chania and everything was in a walking distance. Staff was friendliy and helpful. Also there is a great view on the roof. :)

Good location, hotel is exactly as you can see on the pictures. Old Town is amazing with plenty shops, restaurants. Beach is 15 min walking distance. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The shower was a bit small - always tricky to keep the water in the shower tray with a curtain arrangement, rather than a glass screen.

This is a charming hotel in an excellent location for the town centre and harbour front, both a few minutes away. The property is full of charecter and decorated in a querky and retro way, giving it a timeless sense and fitting in perfectly with the charecter of the old town of Chania. There is a beautiful roof terrace with plenty of shade and a clear view of the harbour and surrounding rooftops - an ideal spot for a sundowner or some peace from the bustling town below! The room was well serviced with everything needed for a short stay, although it would lwork well for a longer period too, I'm sure. The staff were courtious and informative without being intrusive, which was great. I had breakfast out, and so didn't sample the cuisine, although their menu looked ideal for starting the day. All in all a great find and one that I'd recommend strongly.

No banister rails on the stairs, but perhaps that's the Greek way; the door lock to the room was of a very old type but probably very secure.

I was given a sea view room which was an unexpected pleasure, with a balcony and comfortable " director's " chairs. I had a panoramic view of Chania harbour .The location was close to a range of restaurants and to the small shops in back streets nearby.

make sure you pack light . It is quite a trek to get to the area where the cab service is. The cobblestone streets make it challenging but they have a great car service you can book through them that make it helpful

what a wonderful property. THe rooftop sitting area has a view of the water. Close to all the restaurants and shops and everyone there is SO friendly and accomodating

The shower was quite small

The location is perfect downtown with a view of the Harbour from the roof top. If you have luggage you need to walk 5-10min from the nearest car street (the good thing is that if you leave early morning the taxi can come 50min away). The roof terrace was very nice. There was a simple kitchen.

Exceptional location, hotel fronted onto one of the nicest little narrow street in a fantastic part of the old town, with the harbour only 2mins walk.

the bathroom is very small but still we managed to shower and do make up as we were 2 ladies carrying a lot of bath acccerories/makeup

Nostos is located right in the hub of the old quarter of Chania yet despite that the room that I had was remarkably quiet. The building is very quaint and has a lovely roof garden overlooking the harbour.
