Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CyprusRooms are spacious designed for self-catering with small kitchenet - here things could be better (appliances etc.). We did not need them but could be better. Bathroom big enough though rather outdated - could be better.
Our 2nd time here while driving around Peloponnese. Located in a convenient scenic location for our trip. Easy to reach and easy parking provided. There is a swimming pool (good size) with a bar open till (not so) late hours - nice sitting relaxing area. Beach is in walking distance as well as a number of restaurants and bars. Helpful staff and good value for money.

United KingdomNot much. We really enjoyed ourselves
We were a family of 5 with teenage kids. We loved it. Great spacious rooms with lovely balconies and sea views, quiet and not overlooked. Very clean, very friendly family-run hotel. Good size pool with lots of space to sit including in the shade. Great snack options at the pool. Even a tennis court on site. Lots of parking. Great breakfast included, and really good quality and good value evening meal. Cross the road and you are on the beach - 100m down the road and you are at a good choice of restaurants.

United KingdomSometimes there was a drain/sewage odour which made it unpleasant to sit on the balcony. Not the fault of the property but other guests’ “grabbing” rude behaviour at the evening buffet put us off eating at the hotel.
The pool is brilliant, clean. large, deep for jumping/ diving fun & games, overlooking the sea. Rooms were comfortable, effective air-conditioning, well-serviced daily, beautiful sea view. Staff and owners were very helpful and friendly. Location in a quiet village, directly by the sea, no travel noise & we slept really well.

GreeceThe breakfast is below the level of the rest of the offering. Not a big selection, some pastries were half-baked, a random selection of eggs (hard, soft-boiled were not marked). My mattress had a small lump. When there is no wind there are a lot of mosquitoes and there are no protective screens. No snacks offered at the pool bar after dinner.
The hotel is located towards the end of the village, so it's quiet. A beach you can use is only 2 minutes away and most of the time is nice. There are restaurants close by. The pool is the center of the hotel life and is well-maintained. My room was big enough for three and was cleaned every day. There is a kitchenette and fridge. The location can serve as a base for tourism with a range of 50Km (Neda waterfalls, Voidokoilia, Pylos, e.tc.).

BelgiumIn our room, the airconditioning was not working. We went a couple times to the reception to discuss this, but more than trying to put it on again, they didn’t did anything. When we went again to the reception, we saw that there were stil multiple rooms available. We heard the Voss telling to his staff that we can’t have another room. The Only thing they did to fix the problem, was to open our windows, in an area full of musquitos.

RomaniaAt the hotel, there are strict rules to make you feel good, whether you adapt or not. Seaview only from the side, in our case over the cars from the parking and only very small view. Everything seems outdated. The presentation is not reality. We should have known a lot before coming. They don't have a beach at all, but if you want you can go next door and get a coffee or something to drink and have a free sunbed. The included breakfast is grand but the same every day, if you are lucky and catch fresh bread it is really good, composed of salami, sliced cheese, cereals, long coffee, croissants, butter, marmalade and chocolate are from boxes, the omelette is something dry, olives. In the country with feta and olive oil, I have not seen anything like this at the table. VERY BAD that it's the same food every day, after 5 days you don't want going to breakfast anymore. The pool is only allowed from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The valve in the bathroom has been repaired. Full of mosquitoes. The terrace of the downstairs rooms are large but the railing is very low and you don't have privacy, on the side of our terrace the neighbors entered their room, you can see from the alley on the terrace and in the room. You can hear almost everything the neighbors do. The Greeks are the most and are treated preferentially. The owner, is not polite and friendly or communicative person. The dogs around are barking at night. Dinner can be served at the hotel from 20.00 to 22.00 at 15 euros for an adult and 8 euros for a child. And it's not enough that breakfast is the same every day, during the day you can order food until 4:00 p.m. or drinks, but the prices are to scare the customers coming to the hotel. If a beer at any terrace is 3 euros, at the hotel it is 3.8 euros, pancakes from 2.5 to 4 euros, at the hotel 6.5 euros, etc.
It is a large swimming pool with slightly salty and clean water. They have a beautiful garden. For snorkelers it is wonderful because in front of the hotel the beach is only boulders and rocks both in the water and on land, we saw moray eel and different species of fish even big fish. The beach is protected for the turtles that lay their eggs. Bed linen and towels are changed daily. There is a parking space, but unfortunately only a few cars are in the shade. If you order during the day from the hoel, you can go through the room and pay when you leave, but, but, I don't recommend it because of the prices.

MoldovaStuff knows poor English. That region is known for growing oranges and lemons and kalamata olives, but non of this in any of the taverns or restaurants. No portokalopita, no other lemon deserts, we haven't even got orange juice. This is not a bad review for the hotel, it is just a remark.
Very nice stuff, if there are any issues you get help immediately. A real revelation was the hotel's restaurant!!! Tasty food, generous portions and cheaper than in nearby taverns. Definitely eat at hotel restaurant 😉
