Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicWhen something got broken, nobody tried to repair. The smaller pool for kids was not functional for most of our stay. When the lights went off in the street, they asked us to keep our balcony light on for all the night instead - but this was not working already when we came!
I liked the pool with the bar on the roof which was perfect for kids and parents. The whole family was sick for all our stay, so this was the only option for us to enjoy a little bit of our vacation. We also liked the little terrace and garden we had in our appartment.

LuxembourgThe twin rooms with the connecting rooms were really outdated and barely acceptable. Nasty old carpets, mold in the showers, really needs updating. Well past their useful life
wonderful location. Great pool. All the A/Cs worked. Loved the kitchen-et rooms. They have just been upgraded, really enjoyed them

United KingdomBreakfast included but was very basic. A kettle in the room was the only thing missing.
A lovely hotel in a great location in the beautiful Agios Nikitas. 10 min hike from Milos Beach and a 2 min walk to Agios Nikitas beach. I stayed on the last weekend of the summer season so the hotel was extremely quiet. Staff were very warm and friendly. Would recommend a deluxe room, nicely refurbished with sea views.

GreeceThere is NO parking for the clients. The hotel has a small place which can barely fit 7-8 cars and most of the space is already occupied by hotel staff. Parking on the public road is a true challenge especially during crowded periods. Most of the times we parked our car 500 meters away from the hotel, with no security at all and the next morning we had to walk to the car under the hot sun. I can not understand why 'Free Public Parking' is listed as a facility of the hotel. Anyone can park on a public road, this is not something special for the hotel guests.
Good location. Many shops, restaurants and cafe right in front of the door. Clean room, very polite staff and excellent view of the sea and Agios Nikitas village.

HungaryI booked a room with garden view, but I was given a different one, because I was told that it was not available. This other room was advertised with sea view, but in reality it had a mountain view, the sea could have been seen only from outside. Also this room had a much older style of furniture than the one I originally booked, and the bathroom also should be updated, so I was a bit disappointed. The other thing that requires improvement is cleaning. I know it's very difficult to keep animals away, when the hotel is so close to the nature, but I found insects in the bathroom and the sunbeds and chairs on the terrace should be washed more often due to the birds that make them dirty. Breakfast was nothing particular.
The hotel is located in the city center close to Agios Nikitas Beach and the restaurants and shops, it's also next to the path that leads to Mylos Beach over the mountain. The hotel has a parking space, which is an advantage, because it's difficult to find free spaces in the city. The room was spacious and there was a great view of the area from the pool terrace.

SerbiaPictures on booking and reality are very different. Even the picture of hotel you get feeling it is by itself in woods, but it is surrounded by other properties. Pictures of rooms are for their deluxe options. While regular rooms are really different, with old furniture and smelly closets. Cleaning was daily but we had an incident where the pillow that fell on the floor and got dirty was returned to the bed with dirty pillowcase. Access to private parking is very steep and narrow so if you have regular car you might get underside of it scratched, there is a lot of marks on concrete floor that prove this.
Staff was very friendly and helpfull. We were even upgraded for free to the deluxe option of rooms as they had openning and it was start of the season.

RomaniaThe first room we received was terrible : old carpet, old furniture, everything old. After 3 days we received an improved room which was much better. The acces in the parking space is very complicate, only for experienced drivers … The area was full of people, very hard to find a place to eat. The beach at Agio Nikitas is a joke, crowdy and noisy, no way to relax The other beaches are rather difficult to acces. Don’t recomand for family with little kids, only for adults with good physical condition.
The pool was ok.
