The location and the staff!!

We were on the third floor and there is no elevator and the stairs were not easy especially with luggage etc.. might not be easy for older people or young kids to walk up and down.

We visited Syros for 3 days and the suites suited us well for that amount of time. there were 3 of us traveling so we got three suites. The location was very central and perfect for seeing the town. There were some great restaurants and bars super close but it wasn't noisy although we were there the end of April so not high season. We were given door codes to let us in which was fine. The owners were very responsive and came rather quickly when my sister managed to lock her key in the room

Size of the room was very generous. Location of the Oiko rooms is the best you can get - best restaurants, bars and supermarket is seconds away. Would book again for sure!

The greatest place to stay not only at Ermoupolis, not only at Syros but probably at Greece. Carefully cleaned in all its spaces. Most comfortable bed I have ever slept. Air-conditioned, all plugs and lights are working properly. Fantastic building, located in the upper class neighbourhood of Ermoupolis and at the same time very close to the port. Stores, coffee places, restaurants within short walking distance. This facility exceeds any traveller's expectations. Easy to access and the staff are true professionals. Cannot recommend it enough! Value for money and you get everything you paid and more. Classy all the way.

A bit noisy as you’re right in a busy spot- didn’t bother me though. It was a little confusing getting the hot water but the property replied super quick with the information!

- breakfast was absolutely amazing, would come back just for that - location is perfect, close to the port and the main attractions of Ermoupoli - room was very clean and cozy We had a great stay in Ermoupoli and the OIKO hotel!

There is Nothing that we did not like.

The suite was perfect, so clean and fresh. The balcony gave you the view of the local streets, with the Syros Architecture Masonry. A 2 minute walk to enjoy a delicious breakfast.

The breakfast ..it was 2 slices of toast ,a piece of cake ,jams ...not what i expected.

I would like it to be visible prior to booking that the breakfast location is NOT on premises and be more visible that the parking is in municipality parking areas. Additionally, and although the breakfast was very good, I would NOT call it fabulous. On our first day the OKIO cafe (the breakfast location) we were informed about the contents of the set breakfast menu. It was only during our last day that we were made aware that we could have a fruit salad instead of eggs, etc. Finally, we were allowed to have breakfast only indoors. This is a pity when there is sunny weather outside and you are having vacations on an island.

The location is perfect - right in the centre of everything in a small street behind the port and close to restaurants, bars, shops, sights, swimming spots, ferries, etc. Our room on the second floor (no lift but not a problem for us) was very spacious and light with a high ceiling, marble floor and chic monochrome decor in a minimalist style. The bathroom was sleek and modern with a really good shower. We also had a small balcony with lovely views across the town and the hills above. The bed was very comfortable and the air con was effective so we slept well. We also had access to a laundry drying area beside our room which was very handy for swimming gear. We had daily cleaning from the very friendly housekeeper. Everything was spotless, in very good repair and worked well. A substantial breakfast was included in our rate and was served all morning in the Cafe Okio in the port, just a couple of minutes walk away. Breakfast included coffee, fresh juice, toast, cake, pancakes, eggs, yoghurt and preserves. Our host Popi was welcoming, friendly and helpful, organising taxis for us on arrival and departure and allowing us to safely store our bags after check out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We hope to return to Ermopouli and would have no hesitation in staying at Oiko Mini Suites when we do.

everything was very fine except the lack of elevator.

Really beautiful place! The suites are fantastic - really beautiful room and wonderful location. The suites have high ceilings, big windows, great design, and are very comfortable. We had an amazing time. The suites are right next to some great places to eat, close to the main square, and a short walk from Asteria where you can swim next to the city (which is a great experience!). Popi and the staff are super friendly and helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here.

the only problem was the loud music from the bar next door and they continue till 3 am. I think the property owners should talk to the City Hall about this issue.. it was hard to sleep even with the double glazed windows closed.

I love the property and their breakfast at the cafe they own in the port is amazing.. lovely people..they have cleaning service every day so as a whole beautiful stay wt Syros

The breakfast location is a 5 minute walk to a modern coffee shop located on the water front. On the first morning, we sat down outside to have breakfast in the sunshine over looking the water, where we were approached by one of the staff to inform us, that as we were staying at OIKO suites, that we could only take breakfast inside the premises. This didn't sit too well with us, being ushered inside. My husband remarked that had he not already paid for the accommodation with breakfast, that we would have walked away and gone to one of the many eateries along the waterfront.

The location makes a great weekend place for eating, drinking and shopping. Everything is in walking distance.The breakfast was good and tasty.
