How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The suite was great.The place was very close to the beach and to the town so you didn't have to take the car. The restaurants was very close to the hotel. Mrs Rena was very kind and sweet and did everything to make us satisfied.Thank you!!

Super clean, new facilities.From the moment we arrived until departure, the staff exceeded expectations. Especially we appreciate ms Rena the manager where she helped us and her services were exceptional. We are definitely staying again on our next travel to Nafpaktos.

Overall GREAT stay at this lodging. Came with my sister for two nights and was very pleased with the accommodations. Rena was wonderful, always ensuring our needs were met. Location is kjust steps from the beach and seaside restaurants, with plenty of private parking. Hotel is new and clean. We even had a little porch with seating outside our room. Breakfast was included and there was a plentiful selection of both warm foods, croissants, coffee etc. Would definitely visit again!

If you are a light sleeper, you'll need an eye mask and ear plugs.
Ultra modern with excellent facilities (washing machine and separate tumble drier were very useful travelling with children). It was in a great location, just a ten minute walk along the beach to the old part of town, with easy parking on site. Breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of choices to please every member of the family. The staff were very helpful and welcoming.

Everything was great! Especially the people having the rooms. Exceptional behaviour, very friendly and respectful to the customers. We had a suite, and everything inside was brand new with a lot of amenities and great spaces. The breakfast that was included in our rate was also excellent.. Will be definitely back. Only thing I didn’t like was the Motion sensor that is installed to control the air conditioning. Made it warm for sleeping at night. Otherwise great place
New facility. Clean and quiet. Comfortable bed. On the edge of the town centre but has parking which is important if you have a car since finding parking in or near the town centre is next to impossible

I hated that we had to leave.
I loved everything about this suite! All of the necessary items were in the kitchen for cooking, and the shower was large and had a rain fall shower head. Laundry and a dryer were in our room. Very comfortable bed and very large rooms with TV in the bedroom and living room. Very close walk to the beach and great restaurants made it for the best experience around. The staff was absolutely wonderful and the best we had in all of Greece. Thank you for providing a wonderful place for travelers. The owner and staff here are the true definitions of hospitality.

Great accommodation in Nafpaktos, brand new apartments, spotlessly clean and with a very nice host always willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The town itself is really nice, with great beach and views, as well as a variety of restaurants and shops to go to. Highly recommended!

it was not very far from the center but the neighborhood was not really interesting
The building was pretty new and the room very comfortable. I could use their private garage for parking my scooter. Very helpful

Nothing.
Particularly roomy and modern facility, excellent for disabled persons. Easy parking, ramp access, and close to pedestrian waterfront with ample swimming facilities and quality restaurants. Am advised that Oikos 9 will shortly have breakfast facilities, roof top garden and swimming pool. I visit Greece every year for 7 months at a time travelling and residing at many hostelries. Oikos 9 is definitely one that I will return to frequently.
