Only thing that bothered us a little bit was the younger of the two cats. I can only assume that previous visitors have fed the cats and by that spoiled and trained her to constantly beg for food. Every time we tried to eat outside, the cat jumped on the table and wouldn't leave us alone until we went inside and closed the door.

Beautiful and quiet accomodation in an agricultural area, far away from mass tourism. Convenient location to explore many interesting places on the island with a rental car, thanks to the proximity to the national road. Very friendly and helpful owners. They live in a separate house on the same land. Their dog is absolutely kind, calm and quiet. Private parking possible right next to the accomodation or outside of the property on the roadside. For us, this was exactly what we were looking for and we had a great time. But be aware that living in such an accommodation means that you will see some insects outside and sometimes also inside the house. That comes with living close to the nature.

We loved the fact that it's in the middle of the nature, but of course this has consequences. So, here a warning for the future guests: if you are looking for a sterile apartment like a 5-star hotel room, this is not for you. Being in the middle of nature means hearing cicadas all the time, having spiders around the apartment, european mantis, ants, etc. This was not a big deal for us: we had a great time even with a 4yo child.

This property is located in a very quiet area. Perfect if this is what you are looking for! The olive garden is beautiful. The apartment we had was roomy and cosy. We enjoyed being away from hustle and bustle. The beach is indeed in 5 minutes walking distance, very simple, but quiet and not busy at all. There is also a beautiful lake 12-15 by car. The host is friendly and welcoming. Would come back here again!

We stayed here the second week of September. Really quiet place but easily assessable to tavernas, supermarkets and beaches. We loved our stay. The room was great, clean and tidy and beautiful views of the mountains and sea. Couldn't fault any of it. We would definitely stay here again.

Very quiet and spacious place. It has everything you need and even more! Close to the beach and perfect location for exploring the island. The host provided us with very useful information about the nearby tavernas, sightseeing and more. He knows a lot about the island and the interesting places around. Listen to what he says :)) It was a really pleasurable stay in Crete!

The only downside is a busy road on the way to the beach. Not much of a problem but certainly not suitable for kids running freely between apartment and beach.

Everything was perfect:location and apartments.We travelled by car so there was no difficulties to reach supermarkets or the appropriate beaches since a couple of days it was rather windy and waves were too big for us

We didn't like the myriapods, actually my wife wasn't too happy about them. Fortunately they are harmless and maybe this is to be expected when you book something in the country side, but it would've been better if they made sure there were no bugs at all. Also, the pictures we saw are not updated and none of them were from our rooms. There were fewer toys for the kids outside and most of them were broken.

If you have a car, then the location is very good. 20 min away from Rethimno and 45 min away from Chania. So you can go in the evening in both cities to have a nice dinner and take a walk in the old city centers. There are also a few places to eat near Olive Tree Farm, walking distance of 5-10 minutes.

First: owner's bad attitude. He was arrogant, late for the meeting before check in. Actual check in happend 2 hours later for one and 5 hours for the other apartment. We noticed dirty dishes in the kitchen, it was poorly equipped, faeces were lying around the apartments. Second: first evening we saw A MOUSE inside the apartment. After we notified the owner he didn't believe us then yelled at us, why we didn't close all doors inside the apartment and asked us if we are sure that it was a mouse; maybe it was A MOSQUITO?!? I could not believe his arrogant statement. We had actually filmed the mouse and showed the video to the owner afterward. Third: they said that they will clean and sanitize the apartment but all they did was change the sheets and put mouse traps. Animal faeces were still there. Forth: in the night time you could hear scratching in the walls of the Melina apartment so animals are definitely there! Fifth: Sonia apartment smelled really wierd (mold, carcass, urine...). On the third day we chased a big ugly cockroach around the kitchen and that's when we saw other faeces under the sofa. After check out I told them again about their poor cleaning. Their answer was that the property is next to a farm field so all the animals are expected to be there and they can not do much about it. I do not recommend this accommodation to anyone. And also - the pool on the pictures is only for the biggest apartment and not for all! Do not be fooled.

Nice seating area in front of the apartment but that's it. Otherwise we were very disappointed with accommodation and with the owner. The grandpa seating in front of their house was charming. Very good taverna on the beach though with exeptional food.
