You definetly need a car to get there. It is not something bad, as you need a car to wonder around the island anyway

The place is very clean and comfy. It is in a quiet area perfect for relaxing and recharge in he nature. The yard is green full of trees, and fruita you can eat directly from the source.The pool is very big and nice.

These things are personal to me so certainly not anything to knock points off for: The air conditioning, whilst brilliant, had a very bright display for the temperature! It lit the room up like a Christmas tree! I can't sleep in anything other than a dark room (that's why I'm saying this is personal. Hubby carried on snoring!). My solution was to stick a plaster over it. (Which I DID remove!). Problem solved. I live in an extremely quiet road so found the traffic quite intrusive. Also barking dogs and cockerels! But the double glazed doors to the balcony were amazing. So I got the total silence that I'm used to. Yes I'm a bad sleeper so sound and light will not bother other people. Hubby being a prime example! A full length mirror would be useful. Another teaspoon! I'm pretty sure Gerry would have given me one if I'd asked. (When our kettle suddenly stopped working it was replaced within 10 minutes - that's how great he is).

We were greeted warmly by Gerry and taken to our room. The first thing to notice was how pretty the garden was, how beautiful and large the pool was (with sunbeds and umbrellas) and how clean everything was. Gerry showed us where to park around the back, which had a big sunshade over it, and plenty of room. Our room was bright and airy with a large bathroom. (Body soap, face soap, shampoo and a kit containing sewing stuff and I can't remember what else, and liquid soap, provided). The balcony overlooked the pool and garden and had 2 chairs and a table and clothes airer. There was a small safe, hanging rail and shelving, iron, table top ironing board, kettle, sandwich toaster, coffee machine (pod type), little device for heating things (like a small pan), cafetiere, cutlery, a small sharp knife, dinner plates, side plates, bowls, glasses, cups, washing up liquid, sponge and tea towel. The fridge had a freezing compartment too. The bed was large and comfortable with pillow and mattress protectors - YAY, and a nightstand each side. Also must mention the amazing shutters which made the room super dark! The very good supermarket is a 5 minute walk away. Also a restaurant, café, snack bar type place and bakery all close by. Vardiola, right next to the sea and with a good choice of food, is about a 10 minute walk. There are also a couple of fish restaurants a slightly longer walk away. Orea is situated on the road between Alykes and Tsilivi, the latter being 8 minutes away in the car (we timed it). The bus stop is close by with 2 buses in the morning and 2 in the afternoon, to Zakynthos, costing €1.60. We didn't use it so can't comment on its reliability but judging from the queues at the bus stop, it must get VERY full. All in all we loved it here and were glad to have a car to get out and about. Gerry, you should be proud of your lovely accommodation. Keep up the good work.

Supermarket down the road a little expensive but lots of supermarkets nearby (near akyanas beach).

Gorgeous apartment, so tastefully decorated super quiet at night. Pool so clean and normally no one else in it (only 3 apartments). Lots of food options- fish taverna Andreas 15 min walk delcious with lovely view, Porto roullis also delicious fresh fish! Hiring a car is easy & recommended unless happy to chill at the pool. Xigia beach 25 mins Pigadi beach) is the pretty. Would recommend ‘Porto vromi Marie’s tour & fun’ for boat trip to shipwreck beach.

It would have been useful to have insect nets fitted to the windows.

We booked all 3 rooms together with 2 other couples and enjoyed a peaceful stay and the beautiful view from the room. The pool is one of the reasons we chose this accommodation and it did not disappoint us. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly.

If you want to walk to the beach or stay at the location during the vacation, this place is perfect. But if you want to visit the island, you need a car. There is a parking lot in the back of the building.

The entire place is very nice. There are only 3 rooms, but a big swimming pool (usually not used by anyone) and a beautiful green garden. The room is clean, nicely decorated, it has soft bed and pillows, new furniture, AC. The bathroom is big, modern, with all you need, even beach towels. The hosts are wonderful people, very nice and useful and met all our expectations: always very responsive, helped us with questions and recommendations. Everything you need is nearby: restaurants, supermarket (opened between 08:00-23:00), ATM, gas station, bakery, even a small beach at 10 mins walking, near Vardiola restaurant, which offers delicious Greek food. I definitely recommend the location: small and cozy, peace and relaxation.

nothing, maybe just a suggestion to serve food as well in the villa like breakfast, although its not much of the problem because there is like 3 different places you can have food just across the road and a super market like 5 mins walk from the villa.

the pool is big for just 3 rooms in the villa, not busy at all and feels like it is my private pool, and the room as well is comfortably nice, and the owner of the place are both very nice people, the couple are both so accommodating and friendly, they always ask me if i am ok or do i need anything. they even let me check out very late as my flight back to UK is delayed for 5 hours it was moved to 19:40 instead of 14:30 and the owner let me me stay in the place until 5 pm, i have never met a hotel/villa owner as nice as they are! definitely coming back and stay in their property if come back to Zakynthos in the future! thank you to both of you! the property is accessible to everything, like there are few restaurants nearby where you can eat and drink as well as the beach is just walking distance, there is also a bus if you want to go to Zakynthos town as well as taxi.

There is nothing that I could recommend to improve.

We enjoyed our stay at Orea Superior Rooms very much!! The place is wonderful surrounded by olive and other trees. The room was really well equipped, big enough for 3 (even if it is originally for 2 people) with a very nice design and decorated nicely. The bathroom was really big wich is completely unusual in Greece. Gerasimos and his wife have been taking care of every detail to make our stay as much as comfortable. The pool deserved the name „pool“ as it was really big with a lot of space in it, well temperated and clean. Overall I can clearly recommend to book your stay there. You will relax and the same time you are not that far away from Zakynthos town ( only 20 minutes by car) If we could give 6 stars out of 5 we would do it!

The best part about this place is the beautiful garden and pool area. It’s the perfect place to relax and escape the crowds of Zakynthos. You can feel that the owner Gerry has put so much love into building and taking care of the garden. The rooms have simple, stylish interior and everything is super clean. Also, the location is great. You have 2 very nice restaurants at the sea in walking distance and with a scooter or rental car you can easily get to every part of the island.

The stuff went above and beyond to meet all expectations. Since there are only 3 appartments a huge pool felt private. Very nice restaurant right next door, together with a grocery store, cash machine, gas station and a bakery ;) short stroll to a cute little beach. Very good, central location to visit other parts of the island. The appartments and its whereabouts were neat and tidy. The hosts are wonderful people caring about their guests ;) Truly reccomend!

Unfortunately we could stay only 1 week ... apart from that everything was perfect!

The rooms are new, very tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and have everything you need during your vacation to immediately feel at home. Very positively we noticed (compared to similar experiences or even those in the higher-priced segment): good air conditioning, which you can also run at night without getting a cold (I'm a bit sensitive there); the mattresses are SUPER comfortable; the WLAN has excellent quality; very good water pressure in the shower; more than enough sockets available in the room; the windows are top insulated and you hear absolutely nothing from outside; the shutters darken completely if you want / need that; it is a small "complex" with only 3 rooms and therefore perfect if you want peace, relaxation and privacy ... The garden with the really large pool (which we almost always had to ourselves when we were there) is gorgeously landscaped and very well maintained - a little oasis. All these "externals" were topped by hosts who you can tell that they run this gem with joy and passion. They were always approachable, gave wonderful tips for Zakynthos and helped with all questions and problems. At this point once again a very heartfelt THANK YOU for everything! You're amazing. In short: our stay at Orea was simply a dream! We are very happy to have chosen this accommodation and can only recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good starting point for exploring the island with scooter or car, at the same time wants a nice oasis of peace and is not looking for a permanent party (in this case Laganas would probably be more recommended). We will definitely come back if we visit Zakynthos again.

Everything, the room was superclean and everything was brandnew, the Pool was huge and as there are only three rooms in total it’s almost private. But the Highlight of our stay was definitely our Host Geri and his family, we‘ve never met so friendly people, we will keep a great memory of our time here and enjoyed every discussions we could have.
