Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

TurkeyEverything was ok. Only the elevator was weird.
The position of hotel was great. No need to use any transportation. The breakfast was also great. There were vegan options and it was healthy. People in reception were so nice. We loved everything with the hotel specially the roof of hotel was so quiet and well.

IsraelThe only problem we had was with the local cafe that offered the included breakfast - we didn't get to actually taste it as the service was so slow we gave up after an hour. Having said that, we haven't discussed this at all with the staff at the hotel at the time so they really couldn't take care of it. The only other thing I cant think of is the small and somewhat slow elevator (but that didn't affect us as we stayed on the 1st floor).
The hotel has amazing staff that really makes an effort for you to enjoy. The room is well designed and comfortable, and the hotel is located in a very central place. However, we didn't hear a lot of noise from the street, even at midday. We were also able to check out later, which really helped us get ready for the late flight.

TurkeyLimited elevator accessibility: The elevator was not ideal for navigating with a baby stroller. Overall, Pame House is a good option for travelers seeking a central location and clean accommodations. However, those with strollers may want to consider the elevator limitations.
I would like to recommend Pame House, conveniently located in Athens city center, for travelers with babies, with some reservations. Positive aspects of my stay: Central location: The hotel's proximity to Athens' city center makes it ideal for sightseeing and exploring the city. Family-friendly: My request for a baby crib was fulfilled promptly, and the house was clean. Clean and comfortable rooms: The rooms were modern and well-maintained. One area for improvement:

United KingdomThis wasn't an issue for me, but some might find that the street noise would be an issue at night. Didn't bother me at all.
Location just off Monastiraki Square is amazing and so convenient for exploring central Athens. Very nice room. Comfy bed, excellent shower and just cosy.

GermanyThe only downside was the breakfast was only available from 8:30-12 which was too late for most of the tours I'd had booked with a meeting time of 8am.
The rooftop patio is a MUST! It has an amazing view of the Acropolis and is very comfortable. The location is within an easy walk of the train station, Acropolis, bars and restaurants. The restaurant, Zoubourlou (Ζουμπουρλού) was AMAZING.

Hotel localization allowed to get almost everywhere by foot it is close to the metro station and it was easily travel from/to the airport. Breakfasts were really good - there was a menu with 7 different options, and it was provided in Bistro close the hotel

United KingdomEven though we were visiting out of peak season, the noise from the street never stops, you'll need a good apir of earplugs if you plan to sleep.
Great location if you want to feel and hear the vibe of Athens. The room was very nice and with a cool balcony overlooking the noisy street. The hotel has an excellent rooftop terrace with views over the Acropolis. The included breakfast in the cafe across the street had great choices.

SpainWhile my stay at Hotel Pame was overall enjoyable, I must address my experience with the breakfast arrangement. Initially, breakfast was provided through a voucher system at an external location called The Frogs. Unfortunately, upon my visit to The Frogs, I was met with unfriendliness and a sense of not being welcome. Despite the establishment being relatively empty, I was directed to a table that did not suit my preferences, with little consideration for my needs. However, upon expressing my concerns to the hotel staff, I was met with compassion and understanding. They swiftly resolved the issue by granting me access to their alternative breakfast location, which I found to be much more accommodating and enjoyable. While there were initial hiccups with the breakfast arrangements, I appreciate the responsiveness and efforts of the hotel staff in ensuring my comfort and satisfaction during my stay. Their willingness to address and resolve the issue promptly speaks volumes about their commitment to guest experience.
I am glad to share my experience of staying at Hotel Pame. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and a welcoming vibe from the staff, which set the tone for a fantastic stay. My room was fantastic, particularly with the addition of a balcony featuring a luxurious hot tub. The view from the balcony was great, offering a perfect backdrop to unwind and relax. Moreover, the hotel's location was spot-on, situated right in the midst of everything I wanted to explore, and conveniently within walking distance of all attractions. Overall, my time at Hotel Pame was perfect, and I highly recommend it to anyone.
