We stayed in the Panos apartment in Almyrida for 14 nights. Although the apartment is for four there were just two of us. It is a huge place and you wouldn’t feel crammed even if there were six of you. We booked it over a year in advance and from the point of booking Panos communicated with us from the very start. He cannot do enough for you, he is very helpful and a great guy. The location of the apartment is perfect as it is right in the middle of this beautiful seafront beach location. There are no poor restaurants and they all offer great value, quality food and excellent service. (See our favourites below). The beaches and the sea are outstanding too. Finally, last but not least the apartment has the most amazing roof terrace with the best sea views and place to relax. You will be the envy of passers by as you sit with a drink on your high up terrace. There is everything that you need up there. We try to go to different places each holiday so will likely not return but if we were to return, this apartment would take some beating. Thank you very Panos. Lee & Debs. Our favourites: 1. This was just perfect place for us family of 5! The village with nice reataurants, some shops and by the beach location was very convenient. Parking close by was possible. The best thing was the roof terrace though, where you could either sunbathe or sit in shade or eat. Then you could directly go and seim in sea. Sunsets from roofterrace were magical!

The views were outstanding and the location perfect,situated in a small village with lots of restaurants and beach access. The roof top deck was amazing! Excellent place, Petros more than accommodating. It has been the best booking I have ever stayed in. Highly recommend this place!

Only the one bedroom had bedsheets/comforter big enough for a double bed. The other double bed did not have big enough sheets/comforter.

The apartment was beautiful, clean, and quiet. We loved the proximity to everything in town. The rooftop terrace was amazing and we spent a lot time up there.

The apartment is very spacious and 2 bathrooms are highly appreciated. The rooftop is beautiful and we enjoyed the barbecue there. Panos is super helpful and always ready to help us. I highly recommend this place!

The wifi doesn't really work on the terrace, and its pretty spotty in parts of the apartment further away from the router. We also had a few electricity outages, mostly early in the morning. It wasn't a huge inconvenience but if you plan on working from here, then it might be a bit of a problem.

Great apartment, spacious and well-equiped with everything we needed. There are 2 small desks if you plan on working, they also are near the router so the internet works there and is fast. The rooftop terrace is great, fabulous view and nice place for a glass of wine in the evening. We were just 2 people, but you could easily stay here with 4 people since there are 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, plus also a shower on the rooftop terrace. The beach is nice and a 2 min walk, you also have lots of little restaurants and cafes directly there. There are also showers on the beach, which is nice. Although the apt is in the part of the street where there is the most happening, it was quiet at night. Almyrida is a small little town with effectively 1 main street, but it is a bit touristy.

The bed base was a bit sharp and husband and i had a few scratches on the leg as a result. However, we soon learnt not to get too close to bed but it would be nice if some padding was put on it.

Lovley apartment with a super balcony view and views from inside were also great. Panos was very helpful and very friendly and approachable.

The location of this property was perfect. It was very spacious, well maintained and clean with a lovely roof terrace.

This was our 1st visit to Crete and selecting Almyrida a place to be was driven by willing to be in a small location but fairly close to the bigger historical places (30min drive to center of Chania and little less than 1 hour to Rethymno + 90min drive to Samaria Gorge). Panos apartment is greatly located. Clean and well equipped kitchen and offering two wc's and bathrooms (one for each bedroom). Clean blue sea is just across the street (1-2min walk). Almyidra offers sandy beach and good selection of Greek restaurants. BUT, the pearl of this good apartment is the roof terrace with 4 sunbathing beds, breakfast table + a corner sofa + a grill. Having this apartment gives you complete privacy on sunbathing & having food while overviewing the bay. The host Panajotis deserves a special compliments as he met us on arrival smiling wide and being very friendly. Panajotis made sure there were some fruits, bread, eggs, local treats, juice in the fridge on our arrival and gave good tips over the location. Besides that we got a bottle of a Panajotis family reserves olive oil coming from Panajotis own olive tress. Choosing this place resulted us getting more than we were expecting :).

Everything was perfect. The Appartement was very clean. As a visitor u don't need to buy anything for the Appartement cause it is fully equipped. The view from the terrace is astonishing. Panos is a very nice and descent young man.
