There was no soundproofing at all. The mattress of the bed was not comfortable, I was not sleeping well and I had back pain every morning (I have sensitivity in my back and I know when a mattress is not good). The Wifi was very very bad, sometimes I felt like I was having a 56k modem back in the 90s. Although there was cleaning every day, body soap and shampoo were not replenished with new.

The room was clean and quite big for the money. There was a nice desk to work at. The bathroom had a bathtub and I had a pair of one-use flip-flops in my room. Constant and everyday cleaning was provided. Plenty of hangers in the closet. The host has provided extra pillows as I have requested which I appreciate.

There were a few faults in terms of physical upkeep particularly the bathroom but it would be hard to give this hotel anything other than a good review. Lovely staff and very clean in a good location. And very quiet.

At one time (maybe 30 years ago) this must have been a nice hotel. The doors in my room and the door frames had not been painted in many, many years. The hallways were dark and the views from the balcony were just awful, overlooking an empty piece of land with overgrown grass and building materials dumped on it. Even though breakfast started at 7am, most of the food items (like scrambled eggs) were put out at 8am but by then it was time for me to leave to catch the ferry.

Convenient location, very close to the bus stop and the waterfront. The wi-fi connection was great, air conditioning worked perfectly and the room was clean..

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel, the room was comfortable and clean, the towels were changed regularly and there was someone at the reception desk 24hs. Quite convenient location in the city centre.

The breakfast was good..but it was exactly the same all week! The toiletries were never replenished.

Paradise hotel is what you see. Not a luxury hotel but great value for money. The room was clean and the staff were exceptional..especially the manager.She always welcomed you with a smile! It's central for those without transport and there's parking outside fot those who do.

There is nothing that I didn't like.

Great facilities. Very friendly staff that were always happy to help. Very clean. The cleaners were cleaning every day with respect to personal belongings. The room was always fresh after they finished. The location is great. Close to stores and the port and all the souvenir shops and coffee places, as well as places to eat and the coach station. The view is decent. I could see the mountain from my balcony and part of the town. Beautiful.

The photos on this website are dated and do not reflect the current standard of the property. It is run down, our door lock to our bedroom was difficult to open, the mattresses were worn out and very uncomfortable. Our double bed was actually 2 single beds pushed together, not the same! There was air trapped in the pipes so we were woken up every morning to loud noises when other guests used their bathroom. The breakfast was very limited and always the same every day.

The location is excellent, walking distance from the shops, great restaurants, the port, car hire and a free car park right in front.

Very shoddy appearance on property. Rooms need renovation badly. Holes in walls in bathroom. Balcony doors broken. Toilet seats don't fit in room or public areas. Entry room door key not easy to use.

Staff was great and very helpful. Location was very good. Good breakfast. AC was great.
