Kirsten is a really lovely person. She was extremely helpful and put together a delicious and nutritious breakfast. Her cat is also a sweetheart. Parking is excellent and convenient at a lot nearby.

Everything was excellent

Spacious room in a quiet area, very clean and comfortable, wonderful breakfast. Great AC to cool down the room. Family owned and close to the beach and a variety of restaurants. Owner Kerstin was especially kind and helpful with recommendations and a warm welcome. High value for money, will have to return!

Kirsten is a suerberb host. She makes welcoming atmosphere and in spacious and cosy Arethousa apartments you got this home like feeling. Moreover Pitsidia is way more fun to stay than Matala. Thanks for all recommendations, we really had an amazing stay thanks to you.

The host was amazing, very helpful and welcoming. She also gave me the room with the garden view (beautiful room). They clean every day. You can also have breakfast if you want one. The village is nice, with a lot of restaurants and the location is great, you can easily reach Kommos and Matala beach. Great stay :)

I liked everything, thank to my hosts.

Breakfast was excellent, the fruit and yogurt dish was art! Excellent place to base a visit to that region, which has beaches, outstanding archeological sites and interesting little places to explore.

There was a temporary problem with the shower head, but it was quickly fixed for us and not problematic after that. Our balcony didn't get much direct sun, because of the foliage, but that's probably an advantage in the hot summers

We were warmly welcomed, and the owner and staff were very serious and careful about Covid measures and cleanliness. It was great to have such good car parking facilities (a large area next to the Pension with fob-operated gate). The options for breakfast were excellent and delicious. And it was great to have fridges available on our floor for keeping drinks/food cool, without the noise being in our bedroom. The bathroom was nicely designed. The big mosquito net over the bed, even if not needed for mosquitoes, was fun and stylish.

Nice rooms and very friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay and would choose this place again for exploring the southern part of Crete. They also offer breakfast, which was amazing. You can choose between a variety of different options. A car is recommended in this area.

The air conditioning system is a bit noisy. But fortunately we only used it a couple of times to refresh the room before going to bed. No need of air conditioning during the night. Breakfast looks gorgeous but a bit overpriced

All the staff is very friendly and lovely. The common fridge is a wonderful idea: clean, sustainable, and comfortable (no fridge noise to disturb your sleep). Very nice atmosphere. I would certainly come again in a next trip to Crete

The breakfast was good but a bit samey each day.

Very comfortable stay here the staff sure go out of their way to make you feel comfortable within the hotel. It’s also very nice to see two pillows provided instead of just one in addition to a mosquito net. Very good location not too busy and not too quiet. The hotel is also doing an amazing job to make everyone feel safe in the pandemic. Lots of small touches make this hotel brilliant too.
