It has no elevator but you may see the sea if you are on a higher floor

It was very clean , only 5 min walk to the beach, to the bus stop to Heraklion and to small markets and restaurants/ bars. Quite at night.

Nothing springs to mind, great value hotel!

Lovely friendly hosts, comfortable room and a good shower! It might sound a strange thing to say but I'm used to economy travelling in Greece and everywhere having awful showers so a fully working one is a real treat.

Very clean, serviced every day, great bathroom, balcony, extra beds. Kitchen was minimalist but OK for light cooking. Building is well built and well maintained. One block from a good beach, close to several good restaurants. No elevator. Managers very friendly. Didn't try the breakfasts, but they smelled good.

Construction noise, but it was only because we were stuck in room due to weather and an injury. We do appreciate the fact that they are preparing for the upcoming tourist season as is every other place on the island.

Anna! Extremely friendly and welcoming! She has truly made this hotel/studio a wonderful place to stay, with her attention to many details throughout to make you feel at home. Anna greeted us with Raki and oranges. On another day she gave us homemade cookies, delicious! On another day she made us a marbled cake! Also delicious! Anna took care of my wife when she had to stay in room all day due to an injury. She made her lunch, gave her juice, water and made sure she was okay. Any issues were immediately resolved.

It was a well equipped new/renovated studio , with one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in on Crete. The views from the terraces were well from both sides of the building. Host was very kind and generous. Parking place is spacious, and the small shops are in relatively short distance from the appartment/studio complex. It's quite calm place , at least as judged in October. The studio were cleaned every day and what was amazing about it, we never needed to wait for it, always done during our stay out. Not so dislike but things to be aware of : As usual on Crete, the shower has only the curtain, so it's letting the water all the way to the floor. But you have the small towel to prevent the leaks.

The hosts were super nice and went way above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The whole experience was very relaxed, and I had no problems at all. The room is big enough, the bed is comfortable, in the kitchen isle there is everything you could possibly need. The bathroom is rather small, but not too small. Everything was very clean. The balcony is perfect to relax in the evening. There is a supermarket as well as a bus station very close by, which makes it easy to get into Heraklion. Restaurants and bars can also be found plenty in the surroundings. A nice beach is also very close by.

Excellent Value for Money place! Loved the hosts! So kind and intimate people, always willing to do their best to help and assist! The room was very clean with everything you need in it, spacious with sea view. Near to beach, beach-bar and very good tavern.

It was our third stay here and it was great as usual. Anna and Ioannis are very gracious Hosts trying to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The location is great, just a couple of steps to the beach and the property is spotless. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby, buses run frequently to Heraklion if you want to venture out.

Water pressure acting up. Mosquito nets were torn.

I actually booked two rooms as neither was available for the full 10 days I planned to stay. Everything I said in my first review applies here: excellent location, very comfortable beds and, most of all, lovely hosts.

Water pressure seems to be a bit whimsical, one minute it's good and then suddenly it turns into a trickle with water almost shutting down completely. This lasts for a second or two and then the pressure is OK again, though the water temperature drops sometimes, which isn't very pleasant but it sure keeps the blood flowing :D

There are quite a few things I liked during my stay at Anna Studio. First, the location is excellent, right next to the beach with a great bar called Heaven where you get free sun beds and parasols if you order something. It's also very close to the main street in Amoudara where all the shops and restaurants are and Heraklion is just a short bus ride away. Although the furniture is old, it's well-kept and the rooms are cleaned and the trash is taken out on a daily basis. Sheets and towels are changed every 2 or 3 days. I slept like a baby - the beds are really comfortable and there was a choice between softer and firmer pillows. But the real stars of the show are the owners who are such warm, welcoming and generous people, especially Miss Anna who kept giving me little gifts, treating me to delicious homemade cookies and some very strong raki :D

Anna was amazing! The entire property was very clean and nice and everyone was very nice and welcoming! Everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Beach is nearby, with beds and umbrellas (free if you order drinks/food), restaurants and shops walking distance, plenty of parking space in the back.

Perfect location close to the beach, restaurants, shops and bus stop to the center. Studio spacious and clean with the balcony. Very nice, friendly owners and flexible. Shower available at the ground floor if your departure flight is late at night. We had wonderful time at Anna studio!

I loved Anna Studio because I felt at home. Everything was clean and the apartment had everything you would need ( a fitted kitchen, electric stove, and fridge, which allow me to cook some dishes). The mattress was very comfy and also the place was so quiet that I could sleep like a baby. The cleaning was done every day, and I can say the apartment and the building smelled so nice and fresh. Anna studio is also 1 minute from the beach and a short walk from supermarkets and restaurants and there is also a pharmacy nearby. The bus stop is also very close and goes to the main tourist places. Anna and her family were just amazing. I felt looked after, and as I travel quite a lot I can say that the stay was amazing not just for the nice place but for the good and lovely people. I was sad leaving this nice atmosphere and I know I will come back because I had the best experience I ever had.
