A bathroom on the pooldeck level would be nice. The hotel is build on a hill and less suitable for guests with difficulties climbing stairs.

The location of the hotel with breathtaking views from the diner area, pool deck and room, while being close to the beach. The staff will go at great length to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. No better way to start the day than with the - Michelin Star worth - breakfast. We enjoyed every minute at this gem, member of the SLH community.

We loved everything.

Everything. The owners were so welcoming and hospitable. The owner makes different special breakfast dishes each day. It is a spectacular setting, spotlessly clean. We travel extensively, this is one of the best places we have stayed. We had a private courtyard with a hot tub. Friendly, helpful staff. The pool was a jewel. A rental car is a must.

The hotel met our expectations in every sense. The rooms and facility were very clean and they took care of everything during our stay. Even for our ferry, they talked to the ferry company on our behalf and helped. A great business in every sense, I would also like to thank Chris for helping us at the reception. this was our first experience of petra but i think we will plan a visit to this resort every next summer vacation

One of the best properties I have ever stayed in and I’ve been to many locations. This is a small property of 11 rooms. Extremely clean and well maintained. Petra and Kosta are the owners and attentive. Sotiris is a manager and also very attentive and polite. The staff at breakfast were two of the nicest women. The property is maintained constantly, even with small paint touchups. The rooms were spotless and I am very picky. The views of Grikos and the water each day are beautiful. The pool has towels and lounge chairs. Their are even wireless buzzers on the pool tables in case you want to order a drink or snack. So much detail and thought has been put into this property. Breakfast was different each day. Lovely choices and freshly made food. You sit at the top eating breakfast overlooking the water. Sun shades to keep out the sun.

There are a lot of steps, but it is an old building so it can be forgiven! The receptionist insisted we purchase an international drivers license prior to her arranging our car hire, but the car hire company did not even ask to see it - a waste of US$40!

The room was very comfortable, the wait staff were extremely attentive, friendly and bent over backwards to assist. The owner was very accessible and made a point of speaking with us daily. The pool, breakfasts etc... were very high quality.

We had an exceptional stay at Petra Hotel, the whole feel of the place was so special. Someone's home, with the care that comes with it, yet all the luxury and privacy of a boutique hotel. The family made us feel so welcome and kindly upgraded us for our final night to the spectacular suite. Stunning views across Grikos bay, quiet and a delicious breakfast. Will be coming back and recommending to all who go to Patmos.

Perfect location at Grikos bay, 2 minutes walk from the beach and tavernas. The view from the room was wonderful. Very quiet and comfortable overall. The swimming pool on the terrace is an absolute pleasure. Breakfast was outstanding and coming everyday with a new delicacy. The room is very nicely decorated. A magnificent place smartly run by the family since 1989!

Value for money, vintage property with beautiful surroundings and amazing views. There were the details that mede the difference. The breakfast was delicious with local products and daily gourmet options. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They cared a lot about our safety. They cleaned every single day (all the day, 24/7). They had the opportunity and they upgraded our room to a suite. That was the highlight of our stay. Totally and highly recommended.

Staff didn’t help with reservations of vehicles, restaurants etc in spite of several requests. Very disappointing if you pay 500+ per night
