I especially want to mention the great customer service! We were almost the last customers and yet they managed to be friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was also ideal for us. Everything was well taken care of and the wonderful sea almost in the backyard. Parking for the car was easily found on the street in front of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

All lovely and just what is needed in a holiday!

The best view on the North Coast - Truly stunning!! Amazing host and everything we needed with a beautiful pool on the beach but secluded and felt very private. Nikos was super thoughtful and helpful and will help with anything needed to make the stay super special. A FANTASTIC Gem of a place - If heading to Stalos do not book anywhere else as this is truly the best :-)

Well. What can I say. After my very last minute booking I got a call from the lovely hotel manager Nikos, who sent me some additional pics of the room I stayed to make sure that I'm completely happy. Then after the first night I went to the pool bar and met the wonderful Georgia, who's taking care of every single guest with her heart and serves delicious breakfast, snacks and refreshing drinks. Georgia is the best! A place with a very nice and calm atmosphere right next to the beach. Coming back asap!

Spacious rooms just in front of the beach. Very nice pool too, with a bar and sorrounded by a garden. 20 minutes by car from the very pretty city of Chania.

Cozy family run hotel managed by very hospitable and helpful owner and his team! Beautiful location for family holidays with very comfortable access to the pool and beach areas for kids and surrounding restaurants and grocery shops. Very clean and well equipped rooms. Will be happy to spend my holidays here again!

Cannot rate this hotel highly enough. So comfortable and clean, located immediately on soft sandy beach with lovely clear water, and with its own sunbeds on beach as well as around swimming pool. Owner Nikos and lady who runs snack bar could not have been more helpful and approachable. Close to Chania and the sites of western Crete.

We were very happy with our stay in Phaedra. It is a very lovely family owned hotel on a quiet beach. There were always free sun beds by the pool and the beach. No queuing for the beds or extra costs (about anything). The owner Nikos really looks after his customers, he is genuinely doing everything he can from the welcome (or the reservation) to goodbye. We got good tips from him regarding the restaurants and beaches etc. All the restaurants we visited nearby were really good, but we also had lunch at the hotel many times. Very good prices and quality and the lady at the bar was also putting her heart to the work. She’s a keeper! Also the cleaning staff were doing a great job. I can see why many return to this gem. Highly recommend Phaedra. Thank you!

The location is great in a relatively busy area. Right on a sandy beach. The manager Nikos is extremely helpful and welcoming so are all the staff.

We liked everything but the sofa beds were a bit stiff.

Good apartment with a excellent bathroom. Wonderful swimming pool for all ages with natural salts to protect the skin. All my kids really loved the pool and could play there for hours. Nice sun beds by the pool and beach. Perfect location by a wonderful sand beach. Exceptional service by all staff, they could not have been more friendly and helpful.

Everything was perfect!

We have traveled a lot and stayed in various places, but never have we encountered a friendlier and more welcoming host than Nikos! From the first email with all the information a traveler might need to the free upgrade to a bigger room, he was a perfect host. Always there for his guests, no matter what they might need. When we went to other beaches he lent us sun umbrellas and had tips for everything, from where to have dinner to how to find a doctor in the evening. The hotel is very cosy, situated directly on a wide, sandy beach. There are enough sun beds both around the pool area and on the beach, no matter when you decide to go. Pool towels are free of charge. The rooms are nice, the kitchen has everything you might need. Internet is fast and available everywhere, even on the beach, also free of charge. A maid comes daily to tidy up. Chania is a short drive away, just 7 km. We rented a car, which I can recommend, as the island is very beautiful and it would be a pity not to see as much of it as possible. Thank you Nikos for a wonderful stay! We will definitely come again!

Everything was perfect!

Amazing place to stay , amazing service for Nikos and Georgia so helpful and welcoming.Great location, room was lovely,many places to eat and shop within walking distance and nice not busy beach ( in September) Hotel is perfect, lovely pool which was never crowded when we were here, plenty of sights to see either by car or bus/coach. We often got the bus to Chania for evenings, which only cost a around £2.If your thinking about staying her definitely do, you won’t regret it!

- the beach was better than expected. The sea view is great from the room, better from the beach itself, that has direct open access and is larger and less crowded than most other places visited in the area. Very nice beach sand flowers - easy parking, free, in the street. Never had problems finding empty spots - direct bus to Chania - owners are willing to help all the time - beach bar that serves breakfast, fresh, drinks etc - good size comfortable rooms - robe, room slippers, beach towels, beach sunbeds included, no extra cost
