There is a public walkway immediately in front so there isn’t much privacy. However, we also met interesting people. Once the sand was brought in to cover the rocks the water access in front was quite nice.

The oceanfront view was amazing.The kitchen was very well equipped including a washing machine. The modern design and functional layout made the apartment very comfortable. And the backyard patio was perfect for hanging laundry and storing our bikes.

Pillbox was like in front of the sea, a few steps from whatever you may ask in the nice town of Kardamena but very quiet in the night: you can sleep with the waves nice sound. Comfy beds, great place: just spectacular!

Position fabulous. Overlooking your own part of the beach with own sun beds. On edge of the town so quiet but only a few minutes from the busy part. The owner Emmanuel was very friendly and helpful and always available.

Location was perfect for us, just a short walk from the village to the tavernas, restaurants and bars. The studio apartment was a good size and finished to a high standard, the shower room was lovely, again finished to a high standard, and it was all immaculately clean. Emmanuel met us on arrival to give us our key, helped us upstairs with our luggage and showed us around the apartment. A lovely touch was the bottle of water and some little treats in the fridge, especially as we arrived late. We loved having the sunbeds on the beach just in front of the apartments for use of residents and it was so peaceful. The balcony was just big enough for us to have lunch on or a couple of drinks before going out. Emmanuel was the perfect host and very helpful.

The host Emmanuel is very friendly and helpful. He communicated with us in advance, made everything clear and was available upon check in for any help. The sea view studio was amazing and it is exactly what you are looking for for easy and relaxing stay in Kardamena. The beach front is real and the accommodation Sunbeds are very handy. Additionally, the location is very convenient, it is close to everything and in the same time not in the middle of the busy village. We loved it and it was for sure our best stay in Kos!

Absolutely everything was perfect

Pillbox Apartments are those apartments you see on your holiday and wish you booked it! We were blown away by how perfect the place was. We flew in from the hustle and bustle of Santorini, into a haven of seafront quiet. We had one of the patio apartments, which had a full kitchen, washing machine, terrace and straight onto sandy seafront. We only wish we stayed for longer. Kardamena is close to the airport, and it's a delightfully compact town, with everything you might need only a 2 minute walk away from Pillbox. Emmanuel is a gent, always a text message away, and the Greek cats that come with the property were just delightful! We are already planning our next holiday here in September (which is a great time to come!)

Nothing not to like!

It was in a great location close to everything but not close enough to be noisy. The view is amazing and you step out on to a small section of the beach. The host Manos was amazing there to help with anything you need at all, nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was lovely and clean and had everything you would need.

Lovely apartment not too near bars so nice and quiet at night but short walk to bars / restaurants on harbour front.Sunbeds outside on a small stretch of beach can go into sea. Emmanuel the host is lovely and sorted out a couple of little things in apartment really quickly. Can use Phillipos pool right behind Pillbox .

The view from the patio is unreal, a little slice of heaven. We were a little early in the season so there were some works still ongoing in the vicinity but it was still a great experience to wake up every morning to the beautiful sea views. Emmanuel our host could not have been more accommodating to us, I made an error on our booking but he ensured it did not have any impact on our stay and he was more than obliging to any extra requests we made. A superb host. The apartment was modern, clean, a short walk to bars/restaurants/shops and had all the facilities we required for our stay.
