Nothing! Truly exceeded my expectations.

This really is a true Boutique Hotel, a hidden gem in the small village of Georgiopoulos. The clean, simple but well thought out design and function of all spaces makes it both luxurious and a haven of peace and tranquility. Room was spacious,with great amenities.Iron plus board and anti mosquito plug in were added nice touches. Sunny balcony with mountain view, water provided daily. The hotel app is excellent for room service, lunch etc, small but perfectly tasty menu given the size (only 30 rooms) of the hotel. Breakfast is buffet style, something for everyone with a great eggs menu too. The dinner is a 5 course set menu, which i tried. Beautifully balanced by the extremely competent chef, creative and delicious, all dietary requirements are catered for. Good wine list available, excellent price point. Lovely ambiance, as throughout the property at all times. Plenty of shops,restaurants etc at a stone’s throw plus 2 excellent beaches. You can also use all the facilities at the sister hotel, about a 5 minute transfer by shuttle which was available on tap at no extra charge! A much bigger but still beautiful complex, you get the best of both worlds and i would highly recommend the spa facilities. A car is needed if you wish to explore Crete more extensively but Rethymno and Chania are both close by, bus or taxi easy to access. Above all the level of service, discretion and professionalism of all the staff was the star attraction in this hotel for me. They cannot do enough to make your stay perfect and truly memorable. A special huge Thank You to Panos, an extraordinary manager,who’s enormous experience and understanding of customer comfort and relations is exceptional, and to Menia, the “fairy godmother” of reception, such warmth, charm and attention to every individuals needs and requests given with genuine care. To quote Panos “You arrive a stranger but leave as a friend”. Perfect. I will definitely be going back!!!

I work in a Hotel myself and I have to say the hotel and the staff was beyond excellent. We never experienced such a luxurious and relaxing holiday. From food till cleanliness and professionalism. Perfect. 10/10 and we would love to come back one day!

We booked the room with a private pool. During all our stay (and although they clean the pool every day) we had bugs, flies and fuzzes inside. And a lot of them covered the pool.They couldn’t solve this problem and couldn’t refund as for not using our private pool at all during our all stay. 4 days we waited for a solution cuz we didn’t got in ones! It was disgusting . Dinner a little bit exhausting. 1 hour and a half for a la cart style dinner. The food at dinner wasn’t to our taste.

Great staff, always say hello and you see there love for the guests and how much they wish to fulfill your needs. Excellent location and nice bars around. Main pool area is so relaxing and clean. Rooms are extremely clean! Good breakfast

Our room had a private pool, which was dirty with leaves and bugs. The crew cleaned it couple of times, but it got dirty again really fast. We didn't use our private pool. The location is a bit far from points of interest in Cyprus. You need a car to enjoy the island

The public pool is amazing! Very quiet place, where you can read, relax, and take a nap. Super friendly crew, that will offer you a great service. The room itself is very big and comfortable.

I'm struggling to think of anything, but if I am to be really pedantic, please put the English breakfast tea bag in the tea pot when you add the boiling water. Leaving it for the customer to add the tea bag to the tea pot means the water is no longer hot enough for a perfect cup of tea.

A peaceful oasis for a perfect break. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. My husband fell ill during our stay and the hotel manager and staff went out of their way to help us. Really excellent breakfast and I loved having a Nespresso machine in the room.

We stayed at the Pilot Amphora Boutique Hotel for 10 days. The hotel, the service, the staff - everything was exceptional. We received a bottle of champagne and fruits on arrival, which was a lovely touch. There was also a surprise birthday cake delivered to our room during the trip. Again, great service and attention to detail. The rooms are spacious (we stayed in an indulge room - and we had plenty of space. The rooms were cleaned daily, with new fresh towels etc. We had half board (including breakfast and dinner) which was amazing value for money as you get such a wide choice of options for breakfast. The dinners are exceptional (very big portions also) - be sure to keep yourself hungry each night! The staff were the best bit - so friendly and accommodating. The service couldn’t have been better - we would absolutely recommend this hotel. Thank you specifically to Paulos and Vasilis - it was a pleasure. We also visited the sister hotel (Pilot Beach Resort) for the Lobster night - and we were chauffeured across by the hotel teams. There are various local restaurants and supermarkets in the quiet neighbourhood also (Nostos and Mythos were local recommendations). There are also excursions from Georgioupolis for day trips - all fairly convenient if you don’t drive / have a car. We would love to come back! Thanks for everything to the team.

Appliance not well fixed if not falling (lights, alarm system in shower, loo paper holder dangling. Outside private pool not heated and dirty as being last in a line of 6 and with poor water renewal access ( the skimmer system wasn’t efficient for the design). Hence expensive accessory, never used almost 400€ wasted

A quiet small hotel for adults only, excellent service and full value for the price. The ability to use the beach and the facilities of the second Pilot Hotel is a great advantage for those looking for a combination of a hotel for adults and an organized beach within a 5-minute drive The nearby village offers plenty of good restaurants and a good atmosphere

Giorgioupoli isn’t that exciting as location, but it’s a place from where you can visit lots of other places within relatively short driving distance. But you need to have a car. Btw, they are renting bicycles at 15€ an hour … crazy price … nobody will use these bicycles for that kind of money

I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like. Perhaps there could have been options to change the music in the gym downstairs but apart from that, this was an excellent hotel!

this is a beautiful hotel where the facilities are great and the rooms spacious and comfortable. The fully equipped gym was a great place for our morning workout sessions and the excellent 20 meter pool is perfect for swimming laps, as well as just relaxing in. The staff here were so nice and friendly and made us feel so welcomed and would make sure we had what we needed at all times. we absolutely loved it. this was a perfect place to spend a few relaxing mother and daughter days in the sun.

I would dedicate more space for the gym, it’s very very small. Also, Maybe the fact that the pool is so close to where people eat dinner/lunch may make you feel uncomfortable or just not at the right place.

The property was super clean and the stuff was very kind at every hour of the day and night, since the front desk is available I guess 24/24h. The hotel itself is very modern and has a cozy atmosphere, although it follows an “open space” style everywhere you go. The room was very spacious and comfortable.

The food could have been better. Nothing to really complain about, but the breakfasts were a bit too plain for a 5 star hotel. Not enough fruits abs vegetables, almost no berries, the pastries and pancakes were dried out by the heating lamps. Only one type of yogurt. It was pleasant but I’ve seen better in Greece. The dinners were much better than breakfasts but sometimes the food was too salty. Some dishes from 5-course dinners where just too weird for our taste like mango and grilled shrimps together. We’re not as progressive. The salads are not really the salads but usually just green leaves, meat and fruits. I would prefer a traditional Greek or Cretan salad. It could have been better to have some traditional Cretan cuisine, not just risotto or steak to make the experience more authentic. Maybe it is possible to add this option. The cocktails are almost not existent, the Margarita I tried was not a margarita at all. There was only one option of white wine. If I am paying for the wine separately, it would be great to have a choice.

It is new and stylish, nice location, Georgiopolis is a cool village with everything for nice vacation. Opportunity to rent bikes. The staff is 100% friendly and helpful!

Stylish hotel with super attentive and friendly staff! Great breakfast with a good variety of foods and little surprises like additional pancakes for each hotel guest one day. Tasty 5 course dinner menu with changing offers each day. The room was beautiful, many details like the different indirect lights. Overall beautiful hotel, nice pool that wasn’t too crowded, very relaxing environment (not too small and not too big, perfect size of the hotel)! Main stars of the show were the hotel staff though, who were absolutely amazing making sure each guest had a great time, helping whenever you needed advice or had any requests (and they spoke several languages as well).
