How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Everything was wonderful. New, clean and modern apartments. A large yard for all kinds of activities, a nice bar and a swimming pool. If you have children it is a perfect place for them to play in the yard.Close to the beach.

Cooking almost impossible. Power of the induction Cooker very low. However a lot of restaurants near by.
Location, amazing view, swimming pool like you were on maledives. Very comfortable bed. Great host!

Nice location, very nice view on the sea and nature around. Thank you Aleksandra for your prompt answers. Everything was fine. The road can be a bit noisy if you are sensitive to noise but we got used to it. Pool area was nice too. You feel easily at home.

Close to a noisy road. It was silent in the room but when you are at the pool or on the balcony the noise is noticeable.
Nice and cozy place. Hosts are very kind and supportive. Beautiful surroundings and view from the room.

I didn't like 3 things: - the shower was mounted VERY low. I had to keep it in my hand to take a shower. - there was no desk or any place to work on a computer in the bedroom - there was no table inside, there is one on the balcony so if it's cold outside, you have to carry the table inside.
The hotel has a nice pool with sun loungers and umbrellas and it is in a quiet location. The host was very nice and friendly. The apartment is clean and new, the kitchen has a stove top, a fridge and cups/dishes etc. It is small but functional. The bathroom has a lot of hot water, which is not always the case in hotels, so for me it is a huge advantage. The bed was comfy and the free internet was very good. There is a beach nearby that is accessible by foot, but the better beach to go with a car is the Kalithea beach. As a whole we enjoyed our stay a lot, it was quiet and nice.

The hot water was a bit unstable.
Very good location with beautiful sea view and a pool area where you can relax and have a coffee or a drink. The hosts were very nice as well. There is a garden with pines that give a sense of nature. It is good value for money place to stay with your family.

The closest beaches are not so good, nevertheless, by using your car can explore most of the nice places and beaches around.
Nice apartment with a great view of pine and the sea from the hill. It is located outside the crowded village area, but you can easily reach all restaurants in a short walk. The households were very nice and helpful. There is free private parking.

Spacious garden with amazing pool, great sea view surrounded with nature, the place is exactly like in the pictures! Apartments are very clean and with nice modern interior design! We had great time and will come back for sure.

Even though the property is next to Polichrono, it is on a small hill. Hence It has unlimited view. This also helps in that there is very low noise from anything around. The apartment has a lot of space and is exceptionaly furnished.

There were guests who had a party at the pool and of course were loud,which made using the pool or staying out on the terrace very uncomfortable. The apartments could use a better hygiene maintenance.
The apartments are new and modern. Our apartment wasn't very big but had a separate bedroom .The terrace was also spacious and nice.

The pool needed a clean, our bathing suits got stained with yellow.
The property was clean and spacious, really enjoyed the green scenery and view. The host was very friendly and accommodating. It was a 5-10 minutes walk to the beach.

The water in the shower didn't drain, but it is not a big deal. Also, there was no shelf in the shower, so you have no place to keep the soap or shampoo. We would like some cold drinks when we first came, after 12 hours driving (not for free, of course).
Good accomodation, every facilities you want (pool, barbecue, etc.) Bigg rooms, large bathroom and large balcony with sea wiew. Rooms with everything you need. Very clean. Free parking. Not more than 500 m from some good beaches. Nice people. Quiet area. Near of Polichronos, a wonderfull location for families (tavernas, shops, walking at sea side).

The rooms of the apartment were quite small, the bathroom cramped, you hit the wall or the glass screen when you showered. The bed in the bedroom of apartment nr. 1 squeak at any movement (I didn't get a very good night's sleep) Cleanliness deserves more attention, especially in the bathroom where the smell must be "clean".
The locations is verry good, very clean swimming pool and accessible at any time. Very neat yard, terrace where you could sit in the shade by the pool. The linens on the bed were changed every 2-3 days, towels whenever you needed. Another important aspect, the location is located next to the main road and there is a lot of traffic noise, including at night, you can not rest with the window open.

Noises from main road just below the accommodation, there could be a coffee machine in the kitchen

We will definitely come back here. Everything was perfect , new, you have everything you need in the kitchen , the pool was perfect and clean it was a big plus that there was parking in front of the resort , it is 5 min walk to the center of polykhronoand with one word it is paradise 😄
