Wonderful friendly host Demitri. Lovely room with a large kitchen and bathroom. Spotlessly clean everything you need and I mean everything and when you opened the doors to the balcony the view was WOW

From the pictures that were on booking.com I was not sure if the house had double floor or not and both of them were included in the rental. What is rented is the upper floor that just has a small balcony, the lower room with the patio was used by the owner when on the island. So it not the whole house but just a floor. There is a large bedroom with separate kitchen and bathroom. This is just a clarification, not a complain.

First fo all, Dimitri is one of the kindest person on the planet! I tried to understand the best place to stay in Symi when I was planning my trip. Still now that I am back home, I am not 100% sure of what would have been the best part of Symi to sleep. The town is quite big and spreads all over several hills. For sure Pitini location is strategical cause it is few steps away from bus, taxi, ferry boats, water taxi and all you can have to get around the island. Amazing view of the harbour with the perfect sunset.

The steps up to the apartment can be a little challenging but take your time going up, there's no rush and the views are worth it.

Pitini is within a short walk from the Ferry. The view from the balcony is wonderful , we had breakfast there every day. Dimitris, the host, is very welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for him. He was very thoughtful in guiding us to the best places to eat, beaches to visit and points of interest. We wouldn't hesitate to stay with him again.

Difficult to find any fault.. the stairs up were a bit of work but Dimitri met us at the harbour & helped with our bags & it was SO worth it for the view!

The position was perfect, panoramic views of the beautiful harbour. Spacious & authentic with a Greek feel. Dimitri our host was warm, friendly & genuinely wanted to make our stay fabulous! His wife’s grape & fig spreads were delicious. Cannot fault.

the room was an original family home that overlooked the harbor and colorful homes of Symi. Near to town, but far enough away to be quiet. The owner met us at the ferry and was helpful and accommodating. He was a great host.

The most beautiful accommodation in Symi with amazing hosts. Dimitris and his family were the most generous and accommodating hosts who were friendly and so very helpful, they couldn't do enough for us. Dimitris was wonderful with communication before and after our stay, even thanking us for leaving the room clean and tidy. The view from the balcony was to die for and we could have sat there all day taking in the magnificent views. It was well worth the steep walk up the steps to the room. The room was so clean and spacious and had everything we needed, even a fully equipped kitchen. There were nice touches everywhere left by the hosts for us to enjoy- home made jam, binoculars, restaurants recommendations and beach towels. The room was walking distance to everything and we were met at the ferry by Dimitris' wife who showed us to Pitini. It was wonderful to leave the windows open at night to watch the boats in the harbour, feel the night breeze and listen to the water lapping on the shore. It truly was a tranquil way to fall asleep. We highly recommend Pitini and will definitely visit again, but this time a longer stay! We left with a tinge of sadness and felt that we were leaving family, it was just magical. Visiting Symi and Pitini is a must. (Book the Poseidon cruise as day out - this was awesome!)

Dimitrus was an amazing host and couldn't do more for us. He was so helpful and even treated us to some of his wife's delicious marmalade. The view from apartment was so nice and the apartment was clean and cosy.

First of all, Dimitris is an amazing host. This was experienced already before arrival due to his proactive attitude to ensure I got all the details necessary to locate the house upon arriving in Symi. This spirit continued throughout my stay with the highlight being the gift I was handed upon my check out! The house itself is an exact match to the description/ pictures on booking. A traditional Symian house, well maintained and partially renovated with spectacular view to the Symi harbour. All facilities you need are available, packaged in a way the does not spoil the traditional character of the house. The Symi harbour is just a short walk away.

There is nothing to dislike. The apartment has no issues. There are 74 steps to reach it but that is normal on Symi

Great location. Great view of the harbour and sunset. Nice balcony. Very comfortable. Easy walk into harbour area. Dimitris is extremely helpful and couldn't't be a better host. Just go and enjoy.

Honestly, it is the first time that I have absolutely no negative comments. Only thing I regret is that I did not stay longer.

It is very difficult to find a property in booking to leave you fully satisfied. I am really glad I managed to succeed this. No words can describe my appreciation to Dimitris for the excellent hospitality, who is now a good friend and one of the main reasons I will be visiting the island again. Clean and spacious flat with AMAZING balcony overlooking the sea and town, nicely renovated without losing the traditional style, in walking distance from the city centre and next to the port. Amazing Dimitris was there all the time to assist on anything, he took me back to the good old days or Greek hospitality. I could write pages, but the only way to understand my excitement from this experience is to simply go and visit this amazing property and island. My actual rating is 11/10!!

Perfect location with an amazing view. The host, Dimitris, is very helpful and kind, willing to provide you with detailed information about Symi and anything else you may need! The apartment looks very traditional and is in line with the overall architecturé of the island, giving you the special vibes to get the whole Symi experience! Excellent facilities located at a magnificent spot in the port of Symi. The view is wonderful providing a panoramic view of the port. Everything including the small ferries, restaurants and breakfast spots are in walking distance. Highly recommended.

Some of the steps to reach the house are steep but this might be a problem only for those who have mobility difficulties.

We stayed at Pitini house for 4 nights and we really enjoyed it. Actually it was the second time we stayed there.The house is bright,airy and it has all the basic amenities you need for a vacation home,plus a balcony with one of the best views over Yialos harbor.Dimitris,the owner,is a kind person and very generous host.He was willing to give any information we needed,he offered to help us with luggage,he welcomed us with homemade dessert and a bottle of local wine ,he even offered us a night for free because we were the first guests for the season.Overall,a very good experience,in an island worth visiting more than once.Thank you Dimitris ,we will definitely stay at Pitini house again.
