We had some trouble with the tollet flush which the people of the hotel fixed quickly. At the breakfast we were somewhat dissapointed that is did not include coffee and juice both, but a choice between them.

Play Psiri is a small scaled hotel with an excellent and verry clean room in a nice and trendy neighbourhood full of bars, restaurants and shops. Breakfast is served at a nice coffeebar minutes away from the hotel. There you can choose different kinds of breakfast. All verry tastefull and healthy.

The room is nice But THE NOISE,.. the noise until 3AM next door ,..screaming..dancing.. loud ,.. Good place to go out an party late untill after music bars shut down..

If we had to give any faults, the room furnishing was minimal (but functional) and on our first night I noted the shower had some marks, but the cleaning was thorough on all other days. If you are not a heavy sleeper, it may be wise to invest in some ear buds!

Firstly, the location is fantastic, placing you right in the heart of Psyrri in walking distance of food, drinks and metro. The staff were kind and attentive, and were able to sort airport transfers and give advice on travel around the city on request. The room (A1.1) was clean and included a balcony and Juliet balcony with view onto the main street. The room had air conditioning with controls, including a small kitchenette, with coffee machine and daily refill. The bed was comfortable and a good size for 2. We had breakfast included at a nearby cafe, which was consistently delicious and filling brunch! Highly recommend the breakfast included option. Checking in and out was easy to do online, and the building felt safe and secure. Other reviews note a level of background noise - we personally found it very charming to hear the local music bar musicians, which gave the outdoor balcony extra charm on an evening!

Everything was good.

The location is great and all the staff was amazing. The breakfast is 3 minutes walk from the hotel. Kind people and good breakfast. The staff name Adonis is so kind. They have always time to help you. You can walk in 15 minutes to Acropois. From the airport to the hotel easy with the metro for €9,00. I will come back and stay to this hotel. It's also so clean.

Just mind it’s on the street with many bars and restaurants so it can be loud during the night, but we didn’t have any problems with falling asleep. During our stay we had a problem with the AC and we couldn’t warm the temperature so it was cold in the room for most of the time, but I believe it was just an unexpected issue and I understand due to NYE season it was impossible to fix it. Staff was helping us all the time:)

We spent our New Year’s break in Athens and we were extremely delighted with the choice of Play Psyri as accommodation. The location is superb (although it may be a bit loud with the windows open from the nearby bar), the room is clean and nice. But the best part is the staff, extremely helpful and nice to the guests. Another plus for swift communication via WhatsApp. Definitely recommend!

The property was perfect for our 4 day trip. Great sized rooms with stylish design and lots of natural light. The hotel opened into so many cafes and restaurants and walking distance to almost everything. The staff were so kind and friendly which made the stay even better.

Nice little hotel right in the middle of Psyri neighbourhood. Room was big, full of light and very clean. We liked the modern and sleek design. Bed was very comfortable, no back pain at all. It can be loud in the evenings, especially on weekends, as the area is full of restaurants, clubs and bars. We knew that when we booked and didn't mind. If you're noise sensitive, you might want to consider this point. Reception is staffed until around 11pm. Staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Doors are operated with a code. Loved that since it means there's no key you might lose. Btw you can drink the tap water, no problem at all, and the taste is fine.

Needed a bit more storage in the room- more hangers. No bathroom shelves for stuff. Outside balcony light didn’t work. One night the electrics had an issue and we couldn’t access the property via the door keypad. By chance another resident came down and let us in otherwise that would have been a major problem. Nobody in reception in the evening, as all keypad operated, which is fine until it goes wrong. We were happy to have compensation via wonderful breakfast at local taverna.

Location is fab and very central to a really cool and busy vibe area with loads of eateries and live music. Loved the balcony and the live Greek music from the bar right below. Lovely spacious room and very clean and comfy. Front desk very helpful and responsive in info and taxi bookings

The location of the hotel was great, just couple minutes walk to attractions and hop on bus stops. Many restaurants on the same street for a quick meal or drink after long day of exploring. Staff were very helpful, available on Whats app for any questions or to give recommendations. spacious room with a kitchen and balcony.

It is in a part of the city with a lot of late night bars so it can be loud until about 1am. We personally didn’t mind it because it was just part of the experience, but the noise is a good thing for other travellers to know about just in case they’re looking for a quieter spot.

The room was gorgeous and spacious for two, the bed was really comfortable, the shower had great water pressure and it was convenient to have the kitchenette. We also loved the patio and spent a good deal of time drinking coffee and reading out there. If you’re looking for a very centrally located place to stay within walking distance of all of Athens sites, as well loads of bars and restaurants just outside your door, Play is a wonderful place to be!
