Initially there was some issues coming to terms with the keypad on the studio door but it was sorted with a phone call luckily.

The studio is comfortable, modern and in a convenient location. The building, the outside streetscape has a touch of grunge but is just a 100m from many restaurants.

There was very little sound proofing. You would hear everything happening in the halls.

The first impression is pretty scary - the street and entrance way to the property had us nervous, but once we got into the apartment it was exactly as pictured. Our room was clean, but not perfectly - there were multiple dirt patches on the walls, a couple were clearly swatted flies that had been left there. We also had a door missing to the bedroom space so we were never able to separate the bedroom space from the rest of the apartment.

The location was great for us, we were able to walk pretty much everywhere we wanted to go, except for the beach! The apartment was nice, and although we could hear the nightlife nearby, it wasn’t loud enough to disturb us.

Place is very well situated near the city centre. However this particular street is like a nightmare. Further you go, better you feel. During our stay there was a guy, who used the entrance to the building as a place to get high. We wanted to go inside and he was melting crack on the spoon while lying on the ground. Just a few meters behind him there was another guy, who was checking his veins. I highly recommend drop yourself in Google street view and decide if you are strong enough or not.

The room was nice, well equipped, comfortable and pleasant. There was a tasteful coffee and tee. Apartment has a good lightening variability, nice bathroom.

It doesn’t have a stove for cooking so couldn’t really use the kitchen to make/cook warm food (only heating food with the microwave). And it would’ve been nice to have enough coffee filters and tea bags for the whole days of stay. Other than these minor things everything was great👍🏼

Shower was a disaster, the whole bathroom floor was flooded and cleaned after each shower. There was a constractions leftovers left on the balcony/ roof outside of the wondow so was impossible to open curtains. Also needs to be mentioned that the building ourside and the street is a bit scary, could be surprising as its not mentioned in the property description

The location was just 5 minutes from the Monastiraki metro station, a great location right in the "heart" of Athens.

There was quite an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. I’m no professional, but it was like every time someone else in the building went to deposit the days souvlaki, we got the second hand aromas of that experience.

Bathroom was very small and hard to use the sink. Have to remind ourselves that's it's not a hotel, just an apartment that we are renting. Area at night looks sketchy, even though the apartments are not

The shower could also have a better incline for the water to drain as it was flowing out to the other parts of the bathroom.
