Lack of privacy as no nets or curtains for ground floor bedroom. Two pillows would be nice. Small shower. A price list for meals and drinks would be nice before accepting a dinner reservation.

Having to leave!!

We loved everything! The location, the view, the setting of our house with a huge olive tree in the patio, the sun in the morning coming in to the house (reflecting off the sea), the peace, the pool. The owners are gorgeous, friendly, helpful and very hospitable. We ate at the villa 5 out of 11 nights and honestly it was the best food we had in Zakynthos. If you love fresh ingredients and home cooked food by a wonderful chef, you'll love Soteria's cooking. Yes, you can possibly find a slightly cheaper meal out, but everything we had was of a pretty low standard. There are some incredible beaches nearby and with the furthest being 30 mins away, a car is a must but it was very straightforward to get around. We dragged the kids out to see the sunrise, 5 mins away from the villa one morning and it was spectacular.

It is a lot further out than we originally thought and taxis too and from the airport are expensive. Lucky the family could help us out. But be prepared, and may be best to hire a car!

We loved absolutely everything about our stay. The hosts, Sorieta and Larry, are absolutely fabulous hosts. They took us on a wonderful boat trip, Sorieta made us amazing food, and they both made us feel welcome and part of the family. Nikos, their son, was also so friendly, kind and really looked after us as a group of young girls when we went out! The villa itself is clean and has everything you need. The pool is also clean and the facilities around it are great.

Really nothing

Absolutely stunning property with fantastic panoramatic views of the sea. Definetely the best location in Zakynthos. Far from overcrouded places but close to all services, tourist attractions and best beaches on the island. As soon as you arrive you feel like home thanks to Sotiria and Sakellarios who couldn't have been more helpful. Everything is well thought to smallest detail in traditional greek style which provides true feeling of luxury and comfort. We loved food and pool area as well. Simply amazing.

My only complaint re: cleanliness was the shower mat in our bathroom. Otherwise, the place was very clean.

I loved the traditional and unique feel of the villas. They were very spacious and comfortable. The views were beautiful.

As a pregnant lady, the beds weren't super comfortable. However, my husband was perfectly fine!

Overall, Sakelarios and Sottiria were amazing hosts who made us feel like family. The food was delicious, the views were beautiful, and the property is located very close to all the famous sites/beaches on the island. They were also great with our 2 year old son, and often took him to visit their various animals so my husband and I could enjoy our meals together. We will have wonderful memories from our time there.

The Host of the villa was very welcoming. She made an amazing breakfast everyday and was very knowledgeable of the island on what to do. The pool over looks the Sea and made for an awesome experience. If you have a car you can drive to the top of the mountain and get an amazing views of the ship wreck.

Kitchen so poorly equipped we had to abandon our plan of doing some self catering. Wifi signal is very weak and only accessible if stood by a small window outside of the toilet door and is still intermittent. Also there is no 3G or 4G signal on the site.

Breakfast was excellent and the hosts were lovely and very helpful. The pool area is excellent with plenty of good quality sunbeds and a good sized pool. Sadly we only managed to eat food provided by the hosts in the evening once. But it was the best meal of our holiday and we ate out 12 times on our trip. So I recommend asking them to cook for you.

Highly recommend ! What a wonderful stay thanks to these amazing hosts and their amazingly beautiful villa ! We didn't feel like we were staying with hosts : we felt like we were staying with friends (indescribably kind friends!). The hosts will do everything they can to make sure you are happy and have a great stay on this beautiful island. They will cook delicious meals for you on request and if you want to, they can organise a wonderful and unforgettable boat trip for you ! If you are going to Zakytnhos, I strongly recommend a stay at Villa Poseidon with these super kind hosts, it will make your stay even more beautiful :)

Air conditioning could be better but not a main factor as they also provide fan in the room.

The authenticity of the place, the real Zakynthos style home experience. The master suite is extremely large and the decoration is very unique. The host is extremely friendly and charming and their homemade food is amazing using their very own local ingredients. Secluded location with amazing views and very close to the Shipwreck viewpoint. Really recommended it.

Inside was a different story - old(and smelly) and broken furniture, rusted appliances, ripped bed sheets, no soap, dirty towels and of course…NO INTERNET inside the room(only at the pool area). ANTS everywhere – in the kitchen area you cannot leave something on the table for 5 minutes, but also in the bed…I woke up one night and there were ants on me and on my son – the following nights we slept soaked in Autan….great fun for only 170E/night. Breakfast was very basic also, all 10 days almost the same. Also, don’t trust the sweet talking fake host with his overpriced barbeque and cruise initiatives.

I stayed in a suite that looked very good from the outside; also the view over the see was nice. Pool was ok also
