How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Nice apartment. It is hard to find apartment in Kos with normal size bathroom and here they have it :) Beds were comfortable. We booked our stay around 21:15 and we arrived there around 22:15, and everything was ready, we did not need to wait for anythink.

Nothing except for the shower head in the bathroom.
The location is great- a pleasant ten-minute walk from the port. The apartments are close to the old city. The flat had all the necessary amenities a traveller would need; plus, the thoughtful presents! The owner Natalya was such a wonderful host. She helped us in every possible way. What we found through her is an underdtanding, helpful host with a perfect sense of hospitality.

The kitchen/dining space is a little tight for more than two. The shower head didn't fit on the hook properly and the new toilet cistern didn't flush very well.
A good apartment, decently equipped and with a few supplies to get you started - including washing detergent for the machine. Quality of everyting felt good, with plenty of hot water. The owner is off site but she responded immediately when the internet went down and sent an engineer over to fix it. Nice neighbourhood with nearby shops.

The room is clean, big enough, peace, and we can walk to the beach. We arrived at mid day, it was very hot day but she already prepared mineral water and juices in the refrigerator, also coffee and some snacks.

• Extremely hot and the air conditioner was out of order. However, it should be mentioned that I contacted the owner who has been very friendly and informed me that they can send a technician the following day. The first day has been difficult • The plumbing installations at the toilet had some issues • No elevator (but to be honest for me that was not a big problem)
• Clean & tidy • Close to the town center of Kos • Beautiful balcony and well-equipped with sun beds/outdoor furniture • Responsive host • Supplies faciliting the first days (ex. capsules of coffee, cold water in the fridge etc)

may be internet connection could be a bit better but we had same speed all around the island, so I cant complain specifically.
location is just perfect, close to center and some beaches around the marina. Roof is just excellent and all the amenities of the apartment was enough for value. Nataliya is a very nice host, all was clean and we would definetly come back.

Nataliya our host was extremely helpfull!! Excellent location close to beach shops and town centre. Apartment was quiet at night time and we all facilities required for the week. We will return!! Ann & Noel Ireland

The shower is really small. And I didn't like the fluffy towels, because little particles of fabric stick to your skin after you use them.
It's a nice two bedroom apartment in the modern building, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable holiday. It's owned by a very friendly and welcoming host, who can recommend you sights worth seeing, restaurants and tours to interesting locations in the area. The location of the apartment is just perfect, walking distance to everything you might be willing to visit in town.

Nothing much. Maybe more space for longer stays.
We are welcomed by a cheerful lady. The c/in was fast and easy. The property is on a very quiet street. It has large balconies. I loved the bakery and the market right across the corner. It is nice to acquire everything you need within 2 minutes. The apartment has 2 rooms, 1 with A/C and another with a ceiling fan. I kind of like the fan vs A/C. It is 5 minutes walk to the seafront and 10-15 minutes to the main areas. Very good value for money.

lack of kitchen utensils like pots and pans, bowls and cutlery but was mostly amazing
it was amazing and we really enjoyed our stay. perfect area with friendly staff to help us with any places for food and boat trips. staff booked us a taxi to the airport upon departure which was so helpful. really enjoyed!

Security door at the main entrance was left open at all times & the lift was not working.
Clean property, good location, easily contactable staff. Has everything you need to make you stay comfortable. We loved the soft bath towels!
