How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The studio was fantastic, clean and bright. We were staying with our baby and it was comfortable and absolutely perfect! The owner and the cleaning lady were nice, friendly and made us feel at home. They took very good care of us and we are thankful!

Parking was a little tight, but places opened up on and off during the day. It's near some nightlife which can be heard until it closes later in the evening.
Very nice big clean room. Nice modern bathroom. Good kitchen and big fridge. Near the supermarkets and near the beach and the restaurants.

The studios are very cozy, recently renovated, clean and well-equipped. They are located in the Sarti’s center and 100 meters from the sea, but in a very quiet place. The owner, Stella, is very friendly and did not hesitate to help us in everything we asked.

We found availability for the studios at the last minute, and I am so glad we did! Right in the center of Sarti, but it was quiet in the room because it was soundproof. The studios were 1 minute walk from the beach in Sarti. The room was very very clean. There is parking right in front, but since it was super crowded in Sarti there wasn't an available parking spot all of the time, but the city parking space is 2 minutes away by foot, so it wasn't a problem. Stella was very lovely, easy to talk to and make arrangements with. She made us feel very welcomed. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Very nice and modern apartments, bigger than most apartments in Sarti. Large shower area, regular cleaning, change of towels, bedsheets. The owner Stella is very nice, helpful, she was interested in our needs during the entire stay. The beach and the center of Sarti are very close. We highly recommend On the board luxury studios.

nothing, it was all good!
The apartment was lovely, very clean, modern, well equiped. The location is great! Just a 5 minutes walk from Sarti's beach. It's not on the main street which is perfect as there is less noise from the crowds at night. The owner was very welcoming, the communication was smooth and she also helped us a lot with a medical emergency! I highly recommend the place and Stella's attitude was great!

The property is maintained very well! The host was welcoming and friendly. Upon the check-in we received a map with recommendations. We got all the help we needed. Would certainly recommend this accommodation for any family or couple. A great bonus for any traveller with a car is that there are free parking spots available right next to the property. Thank you Stella for having us!

If you see a room available, don't hesitate - reserve it right away. Seriously, stop reading and press reserve. It's insanely clean, very well decorated, very comfortable. We stayed in a room on the ground floor which was huge and had a huge patio/balcony. And there's everything you need. Free parking available outside. Also, Stella is a great host and a wonderful person. 💜 The studios are in the centre of Sarti, 3-5 minute walk from the beach. Highly recommend!

The kitchen was big enough but it would be better if there were more plates, cups, cooking pans etc.
Very comfortable, spacious, clean and modern. It was a great stay.

The hotel is absolutely perfect - it has everything you need, the rooms and the apartments are huge, the center and the beach are 1min away. It is very quiet and the furniture is really luxury (as is the name of the hotel). The owner is also very kind and nice.

The studio didn’t have small glasses so we had to drink tsipouro from the big ones!😂🔝
Everything was fabulous! Stella is a friendly and helpfull landlord.She put so much much love and perfection in the studio thinking of all the needs her guests can have.It was sparkling clean,the location is great everything is just a step away but at the same time so quiet.

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The location is perfect - the beach and the restaurants are 2 mins away. Also, we did not have any problem for parking. There was free slot all the time. The room and the whole property is modern, clean and with all the facilities you’d expect. Stella is the nicest owner we’ve met so far and extremely friendly. Would definitely book again. All of the things was beyond expectation.
The Apartaments is very well located, close to beach, nearby caffe shop, market, bakery. It was very clean and modern equipped, with a big terrace. And a very helpfully and welcoming host.
