How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

We loved being waited on for breakfast,with hand made sandwich wraps and a beautiful yogurt parfait. The location was great just one block off the main pedestrian walk.

Room was a bit cramped but good amenities--everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Breakfast was amazing, different option each morning (in addition to fruit, pastries/bread, and yogurt). The location is great, the owner is amazing--great to talk to. I'd come back! Enjoyed talking with other travelers at breakfast, as well.

We didn’t like the strong room fragrance in the entire property. If you are sensitive to scents (allergies, etc.), the cloying scent can be irritating. I didn’t love the very firm mattresses. I didn’t love the breakfast offerings.
I liked that it was quiet, and that the shower was nice. We loved the little garden and the stone walls. We liked that we received beach towels, a beach umbrella to borrow, and were able to store our luggage and use the bathroom for the day after our stay. That was all very nice!

Beautiful B&B located on a nice street to wander the tiny streets of Nafplio. Lovely hostess Lena prepared a delicious full breakfast. Recommend to drive as close to the B&B as possible (narrow streets!) to drop off your luggage, and then drive down to the port to park in the free parking lot.

The room was a bit small but being in the Old town in an original building this is to be expected, the charm of the old house and location made up for it
The location is fantastic in the old town and Lena served lovely breakfasts and helped us with all our questions . 😊

The bathroom/shower could be updated somewhat.
Lovely old town house, and great location but not loud at night. The breakfast is good and the host gave us great local recommendations. Highly recommend.

Nothing, everything was great. But it would have been helpful to know ahead that one can only park down by the port. Never having been there before we drove down tiny streets in the old town which weren't suitable for our jeep!
A really lovely little hotel in the centre of the old city of Nafplio, with lots of character. Lena, our host, went out of her way to make us feel welcome and also shopped specially for my daughter's and mine gluten free requirements for breakfast. She also recommended excellent restaurants for lunch and dinner

I loved it! The position is perfect, close to everything but quiet, the rooms comfortable and clean. Lena is fabulous and makes sure you have everything you need. Check-in and out very smooth, and a very good breakfast. Will definately go back!

This is a great place to stay when visiting Nafplio. Check in was easy and our rooms were spacious. The beds were a bit soft but that is my only complaint. Lots of stairs but that is the nature of Nafplio. There is no elevator if that is a concern for you. Everything was very clean and Lena made us delicious breakfasts that we ate on the beautiful patio which was a great start to our days. The pension is very centrally located to all the sights. She also offers laundry services which was much appreciated. I would definitely stay again if I had the good fortune to return to Nafplio.

Everything was perfect! If I Visit again Nafplio I will definitely stay again in Rigas! The staff is the most welcoming and polite staff ever met!

Self check in was confusing as we were the only guests staying that night and we didn't have the right key to get into our room. Luckily, Lena answered our phone call and helped us track down the key.
Lena makes a wonderful and plentiful breakfast! She even wrapped up what we couldn't eat so we could have it later! The location was great- central yet quiet.

I should have booked a larger room(my fault) other than that excellent
The breakfast was fantastic, made by a very helpful and friendly manager with tables in the enclosed private courtyard the room was quite small, but it is what I had ordered,(not the hotel's fault) but the hotel was full so they could not get us a larger room. good location, great staff,
