How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

It's just my fault: it would have been better to book a longer journey..
Everything was perfect and we really couldn't ask more for our outstanding holiday! We feel like good friends with the owner family and very glad to come back every year whenever it's possible. This hotel is a wonderful mix of typical greek hospitality and good confort for sea-loving guests. The Epirus region is fantastic with marvelous secret crystal-clean beaches and nice cities with a pretty good night life, but quite and not so busy. The smiling and efficient staff members of the hotel are happy to take care of you in case of need. The pool is very very nice. But I would also recommend the "to Perivoli" taverna that serves a great variety of excellent local traditional dishes, always fresh and tasty. It really lacks nothing for a perfect greek holiday stay!

These are not cons , just things that could be improved: Sunumbrellas on the beach and tv in the rooms
Pro -lovely location , secluded ,perfect for a quiet vacation ,but walking around the beach (100m ) you will find restaurants ,markets , karavostasi beach is a wide beach , yet not so crowded ,making it perfect -the staff is wonderfull , always with a smile on their face ready to help you , making your accomodation more pleasant -the food : very good breakfast , and whatever you order at lunch or dinner will be exquisite -rooms are big , clean , with all you need (tv , a.c ) wifi ) I Highly recommend the hotel and area , will definitely return

Nothing significant.
Breakfast was a nice buffet with lots of choices. Taverna was good, on site. The great beach was only a few mins walk and some chairs were available for guests. Room had a nice balcony Shaded parking usually available. Owners were very friendly and hotel was child-friendly in general. Enjoyed the music evening organized.

The breakfast is same every morning...not much fruit.

Everything was perfect for us. We can't imagine a better place where to stay for our summer holidays. The place is wonderful, delicious food, nice weather, really pleasant staff, very comfortable rooms and a fantastic sea, with its beautiful and different beaches.. What else am I supposed to search for? Nothing.

Wi-fi connection was honestly very poor. But we will return anyway ;-)
Breakfast is good, bedroom is nice, modern and always very clean. Beach service is great (sunbeds, towels and drinks/food delivered to your umbrella!). The restaurant is also nice. All the staff is kind and professional.

Those noisy Cicada!! NOT the hotels fault !!

Perfect holidays in Greece! We were back there since last year, so no surprises! But every time we get there we feel at our ease. Smiling faces and friendly staff, delicious food and wonderful sea and places to discover around the hotel may be enough, anyway for sure you get more. Really nice atmosphere and relax are guaranteed! We only hope to be back at Riviera Perdika Hotel soon.

The internet coverage was not always good.
The resort was located in a quiet place, very clean and located in the middle of a green area. The staff was very nice and friendly. The Karavostasi beach was in a short walking distance from the resort with very nice umbrellas and sunbeds included in the room price.

3rd time staying at this hotel, everything was excellent. Comfortable and clean facilities, friendly personnel, very nice place not crowded by tourist. Excellent food at the perivoli restaurant. Congratulations to kyria Maria for the very tasty foods.

Nothing to dislike.
The room was clean and exactly as advertised in booking.com (description/images). The staff was very kind and helpful. Also, the location was fantastic - encapsulated between the mountains and a beautiful, clean beach. Bonus: The hotel offers free sun-beds at the beach and Thomas can kindly bring coffee and snacks from the hotel.
