It cost 40 euros extra (20 each way) to get a ride from the airport to the Hostel. The return journey was on the back of a motorbike! The 5 euro breakfast was two undercooked fried eggs and processed white bread. Felt a bit hustled.

George Is an amazing host. The place itself might not (about the outdoor) be like a 5 stars hotel, but this Is a hostel after all. Our room, for 4 people, was in my opinion a little small if It really had to be with someone you didn't know, but for two people (or a family of 4) has been great. The little balcony is a big plus (every room has It), the bathroom (in common) was very clean. Kitchen Is available as long as a little breakfast with a little additional cost, if requested. George even offered (with a little payment) to grab us at the Airport. Position Is a little far away from city center, but It's close to the Airport. Eventually, good stay, we would definetely advice for It! Thank you again George :)

Very good value for the money - Clean /nice hostel with so many possibilities (even we could watch football :) Very close to the airport (even if you have a car the best around Heraklio) nice beach around Very helpful staff (George was helpful and lovely) They do quite hours which means you can sleep nicely even in the dormitories Worth for the money!

Being a hostel, the showers/toilets were a little uncomfortable for my wife, but everyone was respectful.

Very friendly owner picked us up at the airport for free. Very nice breakfast outside under the olive tree for only 5 euro each.

The neighbourhood was not the cleanest.

The staff was really helpful. They did their best to make our stay exceptional. They helped us with everything we needed. There was no problem with getting an additional bed for one more person in the room. The staff helped us order food and what was the most amazing - they offered a quick and affordable transfer from the airport and later to the city centre of Heraklion.

The room was clean and tidy, and had good aircon which we really needed because it was so hot. It’s close to the airport and our host dropped us off for 5am for an appropriate fee.

Could do with a good clean! It is rather isolated which means if you are in the shops area having dinner you have to time it so you avoid walking the dark roads alone at night (I was solo). I would recommend to George to put a lock on the door on the downstairs rooms as they are so easily accessible next to kitchen/couch area and there is nowhere to lock anything away in the room. My stuff was fine but I would be much more comfortable able to lock the door.

Cool laid back vibe with friendly people. George the host is very cool and nice to talk to. He told me places to go to eat and his son picked me up from the port for €18. Although it fair walk away the local beach and town area is really nice. Close to main city Heraklion and airport/port but still enough away that you dont feel urban. Beds were comfy and fan was provided (no air con). Best shower pressure in a hostel! If you are going into city get bus 12 or 7 and then only get 7 on the way home. Locals or guests (not sure) sit out under the trees at night and it’s a nice vibe. Definitely a lot more males to female ratio but I didn’t feel uncomfortable.
