Absolutely nothing!

Breakfast was absolutely incredible! We asked for vegetarian food and woke up every morning to freshly cooked eggs and cheese, fresh bread, tomatoes with the most incredible feta, fresh squeezed orange juice, french press coffee and more! The host and housekeeper were kind enough to offer whatever we asked for our little one as well. We looked forward to breakfast every morning being served outdoors next to the private pool and that gorgeous view of Santorini!

Fantastic villa with exceptional service. Very private and well equipped and the daily breakfast was amazing. Walking distance to some great restaurants and well located as a base to see Santorini (we hired a car). Fantastic views across the island. Maroulia checked in on us to make sure everything was ok, and gave some great recommendations. Would definitely go back.

Communication with Maroulia beforehand and during our stay was excellent. She arranged taxis for us and was extremely reliable. The Villa has spectacular views and we had everything we could possibly need. The delivery of breakfast each morning was a real treat too. Great location too.

Nothing major. I'm really pushing here, but in the living room the loft bed is located. There is a window near the ceiling which doesn't close completely to stop the light. Our kids used to wake up quite early due to sunlight coming in.

The view! The cosiness of the villa. Kids loved their beds in the loft. The breakfast in the morning with that view was one of the highlights. The pool was perfect also for the family. Great Central location, so you can visit all the areas on the island. If you rent a car, then there is parking onsite. Maroulia (manager) and Dorina, who cooked amazing breakfast the looked after the place were excellent hosts! All in all, it's a fantastic place. HIGHLY recommended

Breath-taking views of the sea, island and sunset. My family and I were welcomed by a bottle of cold white wine and a friendly person who showed us the property and was extremely helpful throughout our stay (she even managed to take my passport to the airport as I had forgotten it at the property, saving me from missing my flight). Full greek breakfast is prepared every morning with fresh ingredients. Perfect Villa if you want to have a remarkable experience. Totally worth the cost.

The villa sits on top of a hill with a great view of Fira from a distance with its caldera! The constant cool breeze will keep the villa cool even if Santorini loses power. It's very near the beautiful, quaint, not so touristy town of Pyrgos with a few great restaurants. To top it all off, Maroulia was not only a great host but you can tell, just a pleasantly kind person as well.

Nothing at all, truly! We really did feel like family, and can’t think of anything that could be improved… and we hope we can visit again!

Being so close to the REAL Santorini, in Pyrgos, where it isn’t so commercialized. What a gorgeous villa! We didn’t want to leave but there was so much to do…! We were able to walk quickly into Pyrgos for lunch (Penelope’s and Franco’s Cafe were so yummy), and met artists in its winding streets. The beds were so soft, the full breakfast by Dorina was so delicious (the whipped Greek yogurt, fresh juice and fruit, and bread! Our favorites…). And, of course, the pool!

The kitchen is limited if you plan to do any cooking at the Villa. this wasn’t a problem for us as we ate out everyday.

the size, facilities and location were fantastic. We there for a wedding and it suited our every need. the views were spectacular and the restaurants in Pyrgos were wonderful. we ate in the town every evening without any trouble, it’s only a short 5 minute walk. more importantly, the hosts who greeted and looked after us were lovely, incredibly friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. the breakfast each day, was incredible with fresh fruit, eggs and many other treats. we couldn’t fault our stay here. thank you!

Santorini IS quite windy so I liked the fact that there were loads of windows with shutters to open so you could still see the lovely view.

Beautiful villa with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for a family with two teenagers. Loved the breakfast each morning (though the diet has now begun!) and Maroulia the host was so kind and helpful. Pyrgos turned out to be the perfect destination for travelling round the island and seeing the sights within 20 minutes (we hired a car) and the villa was so cool to return to on a scorching hot July or August day. The restaurant up the hill behind the villa is so good we went there twice. There were weddings on during our stay but I liked the sound of music and laughter to be honest, and any noise didn't go on late. We'd love to come back!

The ONLY thing I could say about this property is that it would be nice to have a Smart tv with Netflix/Hulu, etc. The tv there didn’t even have basic channels and was limited to radio stations. But I guess it’s a blessing in a way because it really forced us to enjoy the other things which you can’t get back at home!

Amazing location, staff, property is immaculate with everything you need. The view is unbelievable and the sunset we had from the property was honestly just as good as the sunset views from very nice restaurants in Oia and Fira. We originally wanted to stay in Fira, Imerovigli, or Oia and we are so glad we stayed here because the property was so spacious and the view from Pyrgos is awesome! You can see Fira, Oia, and the beautiful sunset with the peace, quiet, and space to truly enjoy rather than being cooped up in a tiny space. It’s truly amazing and we will definitely stay here next time :) Marioula was so sweet and responsive- and her restaurant recommendations were on point. We went to 5 of her recommendations and every single one was amazing - food, view, and service and she made a point to steer us away from the tourist traps with inflated prices so this knowledge alone was so valuable! Greta prepared the most amazing breakfast every morning and was so wonderful and accommodating. We honestly couldn’t have been more pleased.

The Villa was beautiful and so was the view! The breakfast was fresh every morning and very nice. They offered to come and clean everyday. The host Maroulia was the sweetest and so helpful the whole stay with everything, and she had a lot of good recommendations for restaurants etc.

If I have to say anything, the matras of the main bed was to soft for my taste, but this is personal preference. And the very warm welcome and good service of the personnel, as well as the truly excellent breakfast served on the terras every morning, more then made up for that

Great location, within walking distance of Pirgos village center, surrounded by vineyards and with a nice view of Fira, Oia and the edge of the caldera. The villa has everything you need; kitchen and bathroom are both modern, clean and well equipped and so are the bed and living room. The huge terrace and the pool are perfect for enjoying the Aegean sun - just make sure your stuff doesn’t get blown away by the usually quite gusty Santorini wind :) The service is outstanding, both the building manager Maroulia and the ‚lady for everything’ Maria (who took care of us like only our own grandmother would and served us the most delicious breakfast everyday) made us feel truly welcome and made our already amazing week on Santorini an absolute delight. Thanks!

I am not able to mention any negative point given the stay was exceeding all our expectations! However, maybe one more hint that came to my mind when I observed our villa-neighbours moaning about something. Future guests please always remember: we reap what we sow. So rather think about your own behaviour before blaming others (the hosts) and you will have a wonderful stay that is exceeding your imagination and is graved in your heart.

I have been travelling the globe staying at a lot of 5 star-rated hotels and exlclusive villas, but have to say that this stay was one of the rare occasions in life where I am missing words to describe how good something is/was. The closest word that could describe our stay is: PERFECT - in all of its aspects. Perfect in every little detail of the villa, the comfort, the lighting, the equipment, the amenities, the infinity pool, the cleanliness and the service, all of which were all so professional and wonderful at the same time. The kitchen is well-quipped, you will get fresh towels, shampoos and a neat room cleaning every day as well as a rich and delicious continental though greek-influenced breakfast for your individual needs at the time you prefer to have it. Extra wishes are read from your lips and are made happen as far as possible. The pool is spacious and is cleaned during the night time to not disturb you while chilling during day-time. But, what made our stay even more different from any other stay, are the people behind the scenes ranging from host Amalia to the „house angel“ Maria (rather on the scene). They were not only helpful, but also truly committed by heart to make our stay unforgettable. It is rare to feel this honest (!) interest of hosts in making their guests feel like they are true friends and really meaning it. This way we got to know wonderful people that we will definitely keep in our hearts. An experience that you simply can’t buy. Hence, we can recommend this beautiful place without any objection or hesitation and would like to express our wholehearted thanks to the entire Sandy & Salty Team. Pool tiny bit cold but very refreshing!

Fantastic host! Fantastic facilities! Even better than the photos and such a beautiful place. We rented scooters and scooted about. But our favourite place was Pyrgos! 10/10 would recommend! Thank you Amalia and Maria ❤️❤️
