The hotel offers a unique view over the entire island - whether at breakfast or from the villa. The check-in was the most uncomplicated and fastest ever. Breakfast is freshly prepared and you can spend the whole day in the lounge and try the numerous drinks and snacks free of charge. All in all, it was the best hotel experience we have ever had!

The room and service was impeccable. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay, from the wonderful views from the room, to the hospitality of the staff.

There were two things that could be improved from an understanding and facility perspective. There is no covering on the window in front of the shower, it seems that you cannot see in due to the glass being reflective - would have loved to understand that earlier in the stay. Would recommend an extractor/ventilator be installed to help pull moisture out of the bathroom and villa.

The breakfast location was about a 5 minute drive away- would be around a 15-20 min walk on a serious incline.

I loved that our place was very private and that we have our own mini heated pool. Overall we had a fantastic experience at Santorini Sky, The Retreat. The staff were super friendly and super helpful. Location was amazing due to the insane views we overlooked from our room. Room was clean and was cleaned everyday with fresh towels and sheets (also included robes). Bathroom was fantastic!! The asthetics of the room were beautiful. Fresh water put in our fridge daily. Coffee machine in the room. Santorini sky lounge served snack foods and drinks pretty much all day which was a plus! We loved how private it was and we had a fantastic experience.

Our stay at Santorini Sky was simply magical!! Everything about this place is exceptional, but the most important thing to mention is the people who work here, they are the soul of Santorini Sky and the kindest, sweetest people ever. Aside of them being outstanding professionals in hospitality who always helped us with suggestions of things to do, restaurant reservations and everything we needed, by the end of our trip it felt like we were saying 'goodbye' to new friends. THANK YOU all for your help, your kindness, your eternal smiles, your positive energy and your outstanding dedication! We found a new soul place at Santorini Sky! Furthermore, the villas were great, both in their architecture & design, the pools were nice and warm, the cleanliness was spotless. The location is amazing, on the top of the mountain, enabling pure silence and peace with incredible views. Lastly, the food was incredible. Freshly baked pastries, salads, cakes, eggs, fruit, juices, smoothies - everything the heart desires, freshly made on the spot and most of it available in the lounge all day long, which is fantastic. I've gained weight but it was totally worth it! :) After having travelled 5 continents and stayed in many, many wonderful hotels, I can say that this was the best place we've ever stayed in, a 'soul place' we will definitely return to.

Great location with very good food which you can get the whole day. Everything was very clean and the staff very supportive and nice. Exceptional view from the top Just keep in mind you need a car to get around and reach the accommodation and also to get the breakfast as this is a bit far to walk from the retreat to the main location.

Superb breakfast and a food spread available ALL DAY. 8-10 various bite size dishes, all made fresh every day. Cheese and spinach pies, toasts with tomatoes and feta, greek salad, various frittatas, mini pastries, various pasta salads and fresh desserts pre-packaged, etc. Wide selection of dried fruits, nuts, fresh fruits, and 100% organic juices all available and free all day. Oat milk available. Staff - Marco, Christina, Dimitra, and the lady making all the food (I'm very sorry forgot her name) are all so friendly and accommodating. The facilities, room, hot tub were exactly as on the pictures; with high quality linens etc.

No negative points during the stay

Everything was perfect!! We took a week off to relax and all expectations were exceeded! The entire staff was incredible with us at all times (especially Marco and Dimitra, always ready to help and answer our questions). Without a doubt, we will repeat it in the future ☺️

The room was not as clean as I'd like. We found hair left behind from previous guests. There were stains on the sofa cushions and they were flipped around to the other side to mask them. Our sink was leaking the first night and so it was unusable until the second day when they sent someone to fix it but it still leaked so we resolved to putting containers under the sink to catch the water and emptying it. Our showerhead was also clogged and not completely free flowing. Driving down to our property was also a challenge. I wish we would have been warn ahead of time. Maybe for someone that has a lot more experience it would have been easy. An awd vehicle would have fared much better. The pool was cleaned every morning we were there but our first night their were lots of large bugs. I understand it's an outdoor pool but they knew our check-in time. Maybe they could have at least done a quick sweep first? Another thing I had to do myself the first night. Cleaning the pool of bugs before we could use it. After housekeeping cleaned our room the first day nothing was locked. There was also a side door connecting us to the suite next to us the first night that couldn't be locked by us. The property has potential but the units themselves need some touch-ups and housekeeping needs some more training.

The attentiveness of the team is the most standout aspect of our stay. The small buffet was great. Being able to take stuff back to our room to enjoy was a great addition. Having a personal pool, large bathroom, large comfy bed were all great aspects as well.

Everything about this place is excellent. The staff were amazing and always available to help. The Retreat is an excellent place to stay if you want privacy. The jacuzzi was excellent. The breakfast and open access to all the refreshments at the santorini lounge was just par excellence. We went there end of Feb so it was off season and very quiet on the island. You do need a small car to go around though

The Retreat is in a quiet, elevated zone without excess tourist development but with pleasing views from almost the highest point of the island. Its units blend into the environment and enjoy beautiful landscaping. They offer maximum privacy and have a soothing aesthetic. The large staff is highly professional, personable, and help to make any stay complete. As the photos suggest, the effect of an infinity pool stretching across the whole width of the unit with a “floating” lounge bed is mesmerizing. The patio doors open in a row to bring the outside in. The breakfast offerings can be customized to meet your dietary needs. One could go on, but unless you want to party with loud crowds in Ouia, the Retreat is the best possible choice.

There were no external parasols for the outdoor area, so if we wanted to spend time outside and enjoy the pools we couldn't as we were too exposed. Taking into consideration we visited in September, had this been in the peak summer months, the sun would have been unbearable. There is limited shade close to the main villa and I am not sure if the parasols are available even if we had asked for them.

Communication from the moment we booked was superb, and this communication continued throughout from the moment we arrived on the island to the moment we left. The staff were amazing and extremely attentive and went the extra mile, and more so for our situation as my partner was mid Chemo treatment. They really could not do enough for us, and contacted us daily to ensure we had everything we needed. We booked the retreat, for 3 nights and I specifically chose this location due to the peaceful surroundings. While the view is stunning, there is no sunrise view and no sunset view (September). The retreat itself is beautiful, the outdoor space is just right. The indoor space is beautifully decorated, huge bed, with amazing natural light. The main reception area is further up the hill from where we stayed and you can nibble and drink all day long if you wanted to. We were able to take food and drink in small baskets back to our retreat which was a touch in itself, as most venues in Santorini want to bleed your bank account dry, this venue did not. The wifi was excellent The kitchen facilities were excellent. The venue actually has it's own Netflix account so we could watch this without log in details. Excellent parking, safe and secure.
