Perfect location in the centre of the village. Rooms are a mixture of old-renovated and feels super cozy without loosing any comfort.

Amazing location. Building from the mid 1800’s Anna our host outstanding Wonderful breakfast included. Anna loaned us her hiking poles Great local restaurants. ❤️

Amazing place, The room was big, comfortable and cozy. Anna was so nice and pleasant! (And her rice pudding was WOW! ;)) It was our honey moon, peak of our journey throughout Greece and we absolutely adored our stay... We definitely recommend!!

Hmm, maybe that all the rooms are quite different and I wasn’t sure what room we’d get. I asked if we could change to a room we liked more. Host accommodated this request very kindly.

The place is charming and very clean. The host is very hospitable. She was very accommodating and genuinely likeable. She provided fresh cooked and wholesome breakfast. Papigo was very quiet, but her houses/villa was warm and inviting.

The host received us later at night due to a flight delay, was pleasant and welcoming, take care of everything for us, went especially to buy us medicine that we ran out of, excellent and pleasant hospitality❤️

From the moment we arrived Vasili welcomed us whole heartedly. We were a little tired from having walked from the designated car park to Saxonis but Vasili whisked our bags up to our room. Our room was well appointed in lovely old time decore. We loved our room that overlooked the peaceful village and spectacular neighbouring mountains. It was rather refreshing to sleep with the windows open at night. Vasili was excellent in suggesting activities we could undertake and where to go. Both he and Anna were excellent hosts who genuinely greeted every guest each time. The breakfasts- what can I say! Anna’s prepared different home made treats each day to complement breakfast. The yoghurt with honey was outstanding. Vasili and Anna would make coffee of your choice. Everything was prepared with a smile. As it was summer, we sat outside in the courtyard, covered with vines and looking out to the mountains. It was a great space where you could meet and interact with other guests. We absolutely loved our stay here and would recommend Saxonis to anyone.

A very cosy stay in the heart of Papigko. Our hosts were exceptionally welcoming and provided us with anything we could need! The houses are located in the center of the village and provide the perfect base for activities in the area. Breakfast in the garden was a true Greek village experience making our stay one to remember!
