Our trip to Ikaria has been tremendously enhanced due to our stay at Selene. The property is newly refurbished and very chick and clean. Daemon and his family were the best and the homemade breakfast was incredible. Very nice room with great view of the sea.

Location was astonishing. Not really easy to get there from the Ikaria airport but the travel worths. Design and decor of the rooms are charming and modern. We stayed in the best room for the hotel thanks to the kindness of the staff who accepted our request. Breakfast was complete and typical.

Cozy rooms in a very convenient spot . Armenistis has everything you might need and it is a nice point , from which you can explore the whole island . Friendly staff , nice breakfast , nice view. Parking space also is avaialble .

Everything was Great !!!!

Damon was so friendly and was always helping us in case we needed something. He did his best to fullfill every need you can think of. The Hotel room is very modern and quite comfortable. It was also clean and had everything you can wish for. This was not our last stay at Selene. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! 11/10.

Smile of Damon and Yiayia Room was simply and beautifully decorated No TV (thanks for this): Ikaria no need it 🙂 Shower was big, pleasant…and warm water was there 2 seconds after opening the tap Breakfast was super good. Omelettes from Yiayia deserves the Oscar to the best omelettes !! Advises, tips and restaurants… was perfect

We really enjoyed our stay at Selene. The host is lovely and takes care of you have everything that you need to relax and feel comfortable during your stay! Nothing! Nothing! Nothing!

First I would like to be clear: this was my best experience on a Greek island. Even better than Samotraki and Rhodos. People are very nice anywhere you go, restaurants, shops, bars, places. Parking is a bit tight, but it's Ikaria! There wasn't any issue with parking for the night.

Damon and Theano truly made our honeymoon one to remember. Their recommendations on food and places to visit were spot on. What stood out was how Damon was able to reserve our dinner and cooking classes at Karimalis winery, the one featured in the Blue Zones! Damon and Theano were very warm and hospitable, and really made us feel like family.

I loved it - design function and location and hosts were superb

Beautiful thoughtful and true to the island renovation. They have designed the rooms with the ease of the visitor in mind. Numerous plugs in the rooms including for USB. Lights on the ceiling and the sides that lit the place superbly beautiful but functionally. WiFi unique to each room. Generous amounts of hangers in the closet! The colours of walls and fabrics a harmony from a design view. The bathroom equipped with everything for a travellers need - the shower pressure perfect. Spotlessly clean as we check with ultra violet wherever we go to hotels - and a note for all other travellers the hotel chains are the dirtiest ! The view of sunrise and sunset breathtaking ! The only thing I would have wished was to have a more functional design to put the suitcases of 3 people. And a couple of more hooks in the bathroom. But these are very small things and we loved the place and hope we can go back again! I forgot to mention that the windows shutters were perfect to block the Sun - the windows had protection for flies and mosquitos and you could easily open them to air the place and then close them for the air condition. The breakfast was cooked with food from their garden and the grandmother made pies twice during our 3 day stay ! They had local marmalades and cheeses as well and nespresso coffe but the grandmother made me Greek coffee when I asked !

Location is perfect, as it is in Armenistis and everything there is walking distance. There is a beautiful view of the sea right in front. The family that own and run Selene are the loveliest people; hospitable, welcoming, and they looked after us and all the guests superbly. The place has a family feel. Keti makes a fresh handmade pie every day and Theano’s muffins were delicious. Breakfast is served for ample time and it is also delicious. Guests have free access to the hotel kitchen for coffee, water, and any delicious leftovers from breakfast at any time in the day. Damon has a couple of superb backgammon sets and he is a connoisseur too! And little Stella (Theano’s and Damon’s little one) is the mascot of the place - kind, cute and affectionate with everyone. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. We relaxed fully and enjoyed the beautiful scenery in all its glory.

Damon and Theano were wonderful hosts! Answered every question from Ikarian culture to best beaches. Room was very comfortable- very well appointed. The breakfast every morning was delicious and abundant. They even made me coffee the way I like. The food in Ikaria is the best so far that I’ve had in Greece. Also the location was really great. Armenistis is a very sweet little village with amazing beaches.

Our room was beautiful. The attention to the smallest details including usb ports for easy phone charging, high quality linen, comfortable bed, outdoor table setting for 2 outside the room, stunning views of the sea, use of kitchen if we wanted it, fabulous breakfast and prime location with just a very short walk to swim and restaurants. And, easy parking!!!! Selene is family owned and operated and the love shows.

Selene has beautifully appointed rooms, fantastic location with beach, restaurants and town on your doorstep. Views from rooms and verandahs are extensive of the blue waters of the med. Breakfast is excellent. Selene is family run and service is both caring and exceptional.
