Hotel is located 7-10 minutes walking to Koukounaries beach, in a very quiet location. There are trees and greenery all around.The whole property is very green, very well taken care of. Our apartment had a lot of cute details. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Maria is a great host! She provided us information about the island and was very nice and kind.

A quiet place, very well located 20 min for skiathos city-centrer Wonderful appartement, decorated with taste, smartly equiped with all you can need.. Highly recommended to everyone, especially all first-time-skiathos-visitors, like us. Maria, our host, was very friendly, helpful, nice easygoing and talkative. She gave us valuable advices for our stay and helped us to get a cab very easily, etc. I definitely recommend. Thanks Maria

Nothing, it was perfect. The only thing we didn’t like was leaving the property when our holiday ended and having to say goodbye to Maria & the lovely staff.

The property was perfect in every way imaginable. Lovely, clean, airy, light & cool. The location was perfect & private, and only a few minutes walk from a lovely taverna, a supermarket, and the beautiful beach. Bus stop 23 was only a 5 minute walk, so we could easily hop on s bus and explore the beautiful island, there was also a beautiful shady walk nearby through woods to Madraki and another 2 beaches. The owner Maria is fantastic and made us feel so welcome from the minute we arrived, she gave us great information about the island and nothing was too much trouble for her, the staff at the property were amazing, lovely, friendly, kind & efficient, always smiling and helplful and made us feel so welcome. It was a fantastic apartment with great facilities, we will without a shadow of doubt return to this property. It was wonderful.

The apartment was very clean, and spacious, not too far from a supermarket, a few bars and restaurants and bus stop, where you can get the bus to different resorts restaurants and Skiathos town, which is definitely worth a visit. there are a couple of pools nearby that you can use, if you buy drinks there. And it’s a short walk to the beautiful beach. Maria the apartment owner gave us a lovely welcome with lots of recommendations of where to eat, and some interesting information about the island. The apartment has loads of storage, wardrobes and drawers and a list of useful phone numbers including taxis, which comes in handy. There’s free Wi-Fi a washing machine, hair dryer, cooker and a BBQ in the garden. The towels and sheets are changed regularly and they keep you topped up with loo roll. The caretakers are also very helpful. Checkout is at 11am but if you have a later flight there’s a secure room where you can store your cases until you need to leave, So you can enjoy your last day at the beach or pool.

The inn is located in the middle of a forest, with a very beautiful view and close to the sea. The place is very nice and the staff is very helpful.

Overall we are very pleased, the only thing that the balcony door was a little bit tricky to close. Otherwise a very affordable place.

The apartment was very nice located in the forest with a lovely garden. There was a play house and the garden was kid friendly. It was a very nice stay for a family, as we also had access to a washing machine which was very convenient. The apartment was big, with two stories and two big beds, nicely decorated. A small simple kitchen and fridge. The hostess was very welcoming, gave a lot of information, she would also reply quickly if we had questions during the stay. The gardener and maid were very nice and welcoming. The maid cleaned every day. It only took us 4-5 minutes to get to the main street. Directly we had access to three restaurants and a friendly supermarket.

We were travelling with our car therefore the location was excellent for us. Koukounaires beach, one of the best beaches of the island, was 10 minutes walk. The place has all you need from home and super clean. We didn’t have chance to meet Maria but even from far she managed all we need.

If you have small children there are some art items in the rooms which are not baby friendly. If broken they are 1000+ eur each. They are nice but have in mind if you have a toddler that grabs everything

It is located in a forest, that’s why it was cooler in the hot summer. The property is also close to two of the most famous beaches in Skiathos island - Koukounaries and Banana beach. It is very clean and the staff are doing great job.

The property owner wasn't able to meet us when we arrived but she made sure to message instructions for us to get in. The rooms are spotless clean and comfortable. The garden is stunning and ideal for children to play.

the music noise at night coming from another hotel nearby the kitchen was very small and not really comfortable to cook, so even for breakfast it was quite challenging to cook. we just went to take breakfest at nearby mandraki village which was 30 euro for 2 people (quite expensive) property very expensive for what they offer, but hey it is july and all the rents in the island are fully booked. Wifi was very poor, stayed mostly on mobile data

The rooms are all decorated in it's own temathic, very beautiful and pleaseant to stay in. The place is located just few minutes walking from the biggest and most beautiful beach in the island. Perfect for families because the water is cristal clear and shalow, wide with fine sand and lots of shade, sunbeds or not, everything you need. Supermarket and restaurant is very close also. The yard is nice with toys and facilities for children, in the forest located very intimate and lots of green nature arround.

Maybe in some rooms the WI-FI connection might benefit from some potentiation.

The holiday starts already with the great smile of Mrs. Maria, the owner and an arts activist and figurative artist herself. Mrs. Maria is very kind and very welcoming, very careful to make your stay safe, easy and relaxed. The room is rather large, well equiped, with confortable beds and a nice terrace. Very clean. AC works properly. The property offers a huge and well kept garden, ideal for kids. Several beaches are at easy reach by a nice walk in the mediterian lush vegetation. N. 23 Bus stop is just a few min walk away. It seems to stay at friends house rather than at a hotel. It is a truly reccomended accomodation!

Our stay at Driades was wonderful. Maria is a great host and she made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Her artwork gives the place a warm feeling and the staff keeps everything clean, daily. The villa is located in a peaceful area, with easy access to the beach and to the best restaurants and supermarkets in Koukounaries. The rooms from our maisonette were spacious, private and well furnished. And the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.
