The whole place needs a facelift and deep clean, this is often the case staying at the end of the season! Our bathroom was grubby and the toilet leaked for 3 days. Some rooms are split level and are not ideal for people with mobility issues. It doesn’t mention this when you book.

We had a private villa and pool offering privacy. The breakfast was great and the staff were amazing, really good at helping sort travel arrangements and restaurants etc

Not a negative but the property could benefit from signage around the pool areas warning children about slippery areas.

The staff were very hospitable, knowledgable and welcoming towards my and my family. The breakfast was 10/10 excellent and combined with the spectactular views around the pool of Santorini made this property a instagram worthy.

The bed was a bit too hard for my liking and the shower needed a curtain. Otherwise excellent.

Amazing service, pool area and food all great. No shortage of sun beds. Lovely room we were in a terrace suite and loads of space. Pyrgos is lovely. Lots of bars and restaurants and super pretty place.

We did have a few issues with the room allocated when we first arrived however this was swiftly dealt with and an alternative room offered which we took. The staff handled our concerns swiftly and professionally which is all you can ask for.

The hotel is very well located with stunning views. The pool and outside area is very relaxing with plenty of beds and individual seating areas. Breakfast was excellent with a large choice to please everyone. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, a particular mention to Ana on the front desk who was always extremely cheerful and accommodating. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. We had a room with a private pool which was a lovely addition and would certainly recommend it.

Ants around the private pool and around the room. The bath has a Jacuzzi option but you can’t block the water so it’s irrelevant.

The hotel is located in a good area with everything you need around you. The view is amazing, the pool and the private pool is even better. The staff was great and nice, helped us with everything we needed. The breakfast is rich and fresh.

I don’t have any reason to complain about the property, my only small issue would be ensuring the upstairs bedroom in the villa is cooled at night before going to bed, but you can adjust the AC system so the cool air is directed upwards rather than into the downstairs lounge area.

The first thing that struck me about SMY Santorini Suites and Villas was the great communication with Bionka, even before arriving at the property. On arrival I was happy to discover that all staff were very friendly. The pool area had a great view and lots of beds, chairs, sofas and tables for everyone. It never felt crowded. There was a great selection of hot and cold items for breakfast to suit all tastes. There was a very relaxed vibe around the pool and Mike, the waiter, would check on you to see if you wanted a drink or something to eat. I ate dinner once at the hotel and really enjoyed the club sandwich and fries. I think the prices were very reasonable. Do yourself a favour and explore Pirgos village, only a 10 minute walk down the road. Eat at RoseMary for amazing food and great view and enjoy a drink at sunset at Franco’s bar. Visit Pirgos restaurant which is literally across the road from SMY and Santo wines, if your budget allows for decent wine with an incredible view.

We slept only one night in the bed.four night in sofa bed.because to go to the bed was dangerous. Stairs from room to go to the bed.thats why we used sofa bed.we asked reception to change our room they didn't do it.

The hotel was amazing with such good views and facilities. We loved the location and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The AC faulted and they quickly came to sort it and moved our room when they needed to get an engineer to fix it. We had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone! We stayed in a double room with private pool.

Everything about this property was amazing. The hotel has a beautiful pool area with fantastic bar staff. The private pool in the room was lovely and had spectacular sunset views. The location of the hotel is great as the bus stop to all areas in Santorini is only a short walk away. The hotel staff are very accommodating, Sergio was is an excellent barman and made me some fantastic drinks. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

The bathroom was smelly and old. It smelled of sewage or what. Mirrors, shower and pipes were rusty and worn. The hairdryer from different century. It felt also dirty and water was coming up from the drain on the floor. The cleaning was not the best. i was plugging in my phone charger and when i moved away the side table in the living room, there was quite a bit of dirt.

The staff was the sweetest and kindest ever. All of them friendly, smiley & helpful. The pool area is amazing. Huge breakfast choice Location great, close to bus stop, winery and to the town & restaurants Nice set up of room, large size, cute balcony

I didn't like the room. (Villa)We paid 1400 euros for 7 nights for a room with a private pool which pool we didn't use because his paint stayed on my skin every time I touch the pool. Obviously This paint was not for pools! Also the room was very old I mean all the furniture. There las mold and rust in the room. Rust on the bed. And I am pregnant so imagine how I felt when we saw the room. We are very disappointed because the photos in booking are false and our expectations were much higher than the reality. That's why we wanted to leave the property and to take our money back but with no success. Luckily there was another free room.." the most expensive and fancy one" so we changed our room. The manager reacted very fast and he wanted to make our stay much better so we thanked him But we were disappointed already....

The breakfast was rich. We liked it. Also I like how the staff was doing their job. They was very polite to us, smiled.

Room was a villa with private pool . Private Pool area needs to be refurbished as it was very tired. Private ool was dirty in fact the day we left the pool was unusable as the pool turned Grey in colour. The bathroom was clean but rusty and mould around seals and shower screen .

The bathroom was not clean enough, everything in the bathroom looked old, could’ve given us more towels and water bottles. The room was tiny and the bed was not comfortable. The pool was not even private as it was joint with the next rooms pool.

Breakfast was somewhat disappointing and with very limited healthy vegetarian options. Only poor coffee from a self-service machine was included, so guests had to pay extra for good coffee at breakfast. I have guaranteed my booking with credit card, and Booking.com stated explicitly that I would not have to pay before my arrival. However, a week before my travel, the hotel asked me to pay the full amount of my stay through a cryptic Greek website within 24 hours, otherwise they would cancel my reservation. Even when I explained the situation, the hotel insisted on advance payment.

Great location. Close to Pyrgos town, and with nice view across the island from the pool. Staff was very friendly but unflexible.
