What a beautiful view to wake up to in the morning! I loved the outside balcony. Lots of gorgeous friendly cats around. The host Athina was so lovely and helpful, she even collected me from the airport. There was a beautiful area to sit / read /use the hammock in the garden. Facilities were basic but it was all that I needed. About a ten minute walk into the main part of town and roughly the same to get to the beach. This place had such a beautiful family feel to it.

The internet is unstable but still fine for a quite and therapeutic trip

I cannot expect a better place than Sofos!! Stunning and breathtaking views and the hosts are super kind they picked me up and also drove me to the airport!the days I stayed in Sofos were the best memories of Zaykinthos, therapeutic experiences!

Perfect accommodation with a great view from the balcony. We spent our honeymoon here, and we found a bottle of champagne and sweets to welcome us 🍾 It is very clean ( cleaning is in every two days ). There is a yard where you can also spend calm time and enjoy in sunset. I have to praise our host. She is very kind and helpful. She was helping us with everything that we needed. I am going to rate this place 10/10, and I am likely to stay again here in the future. Thank you for everything! Miroslav & Katarina

Location is quite near to the beach and town, but the hill is steep- lots of climbing. Totally worth it, but need some stamina.

I highly recommend this place. The rooms have a wonderful view of the sea and olive trees. You can watch sunrises and sunsets from the balcony. The surroundings of the hotel look magical, the area is carefully and creatively decorated. There is an olive grove, vines, tables and chairs. It's just a little Greece. The room is big, well equipped and very nice. Cleaned every other day. An additional convenience is the possibility of transfer to and from the airport. The owner Athina is an incredibly warm and very helpful person. Staying here was a truly amazing experience and I will definitely come back. Thank you very much for everything and for your wonderful hospitality!

Want a dream vacation? Sofos Apartments welcomes you to a place straight out of a fairy tale! The host, Athina, is an amazing person! You need something? She helps you. Don't have a hat, umbrella or sunscreen because you're traveling light? She lends you some. Do you need information or do you have unanswered questions? Athina finds a solution. The whole place is kept in immaculate condition (the rooms include it). In addition, the sheets and towels were changed every two days and the cleaning was done regularly. Yes, I had some trouble breathing at times on the way up the hill to the apartments, but it was the view from the top that really took my breath away! I will come back anytime!

The photos provided in the post can not depict the beauty of the place. The rooms are very  cosy and you will have everything you need, but best of all, rooms also have wonderful view on the sea and long sandy beach. Beach is near, 5 mins form the Sofos, there you will find nice bars and tavernas (recommendations for taverna Paradiso). One of the best parts of this place is beautiful spacious garden where you can fully relax (the view is the same as from the rooms). It's equipped with hamuks, beds, chairs... thus I really can't decide was it better for me to read there under the shade of the olive tries or listen the sound of waves and drink vine in the night. However, without any doubt, the heart of this place are such a wonderful hosts. They really make you feel like in your own home, always are ready to help you in any situation and give you resourceful information about the island and touristic attractions. I really don't have any complaint. Definitely the place where you want to be back.

Nice clean old greek style apartment with an amazing view from your balcony, easy walk (apart from the steep driveway) to town,the beach and close by restaurants. The host was lovely and very helpful, she even refused to book us a taxi and drove us herself to the port at 5.30 in the morning to get our ferry. Zakynthos is a beautiful island and if we come back we will stay at Sofos again.

Such a lovely and charming place!!! It should be on the list You Must See or 10 things to do in Zante Island.!! Seriously unbeatable views for the entire beach, with sunrise as well as sunset to admire from the balcony. And all of this is suranded by beautiful garden with lots of places to sit and relax. Plus, if it wasn't enough to recommend, the super lovely host, always ready to help or chat. You can't even dream about it. 6' walk to the beach Stunning Can't wait to come back!!!
